Ben W. of Thief River Falls, MN had water coming into his basement; some of it coming through the floor. He found American Waterworks on HomeAdvisor. He scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian. Ian went to Ben's house, inspected his basement space, and proposed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which triples the protection, solves all three water problems, and comes with a battery backup, in case of power failure.
Our Foreman, Ryan, and his crew broke out the concrete floor, forming a whole. In the hole, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, followed by the discharge line. To complete the project, our crew filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them, ensuring the space was neater than when they found it.

A homeowner from Thief River Falls had been watching his basement walls for several years now. You see, the walls had been showing signs of cracking for some time and kept worsening over time. The homeowner was growing more concerned but didn't know of any local foundation repair companies. One day one of his neighbors informed him about our services so the homeowner decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and several weeks later, our Design specialist was scheduled to head out to the home.
Our Design Specialist performed his walkthrough inspection, and when he finished, met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. Our Design Specialist began by saying that the homeowner was right to address the problem, as failing walls can impact the home's structural integrity. He went on to say that the problem could be solved with the use of our PowerBrace system. He explained that our PowerBraces are a patented foundation wall repair system that's designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. These steel I-beams will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustment. Over time, the PowerBrace™ System can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan and decided to schedule the job on the spot.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Franklin O, led his team through the successful installation of 13 PowerBraces throughout the basement. Now that the job was been completed, our customer is thrilled to know that his foundation worries are in the past!

A Thief River Falls, MN, homeowner had been aware of several cracks in his foundation for some time now. He was beginning to think about reselling his home and knew that he had to have the problem fixed before he could list his home. He began to look for MN foundation repair, quickly found us, and decided to sign up for his FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan J, headed out to the home. He completed a full inspection of the foundation and then met with the homeowner. He began by stating that foundation walls are not designed to withstand pressure on the side of the wall. So when the pressure being exerted ends up being more than the wall can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, tilting in at the top, and/or sliding in at the bottom. Dylan went on to say that he was recommending our GeoLock wall anchors, an innovative system that counteracts the pressure on the wall by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed undisturbed soil beyond the foundation. Dylan finished by saying that this system is able to be tightened over time to move through the next stages of the home's life. The homeowner was thrilled with Dylan's recommendation and signed on the spot.
A month or so later, our Foreman, Kingsley C, and his team were in the basement installing the anchors. When they finished, they had successfully installed 8 GeoLock anchors throughout the basement. Now, our customer can list his home with confidence!
A Town Home association in Delano, MN had a situation where water was leaking into the basement of a tenant’s Town House. They reassured that tenant that they would resolve the situation as quickly as possible, so they contacted American Waterworks to waterproof the basement.
When our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, entered the basement to provide them with a FREE estimate, he discovered that their old sump pump had failed and that had caused the wet basement. Chad developed a thorough waterproofing plan that was the most beneficial for the townhome association as well as the tenant living there.
Our production team installed our Iron Oaker drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump. The drainage system properly guides water to the sump pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and out of the townhome. The installation process took two days, but since our waterproofing system is guaranteed for a lifetime, the townhome association can rest easy knowing they chose the right long-term solution.

Donnie A., the President of a townhome association in Delano, MN, had previously met with one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, and was impressed with his professionalism and the products American Waterworks has to offer. So, when the townhome association started seeing issues with sinking concrete, he knew Chad was the guy to call. Chad presented Donnie with our PolyLevel concrete repair option, and Donnie was glad to learn that PolyLevel is a more durable, non-invasive alternative to mudjacking or total concrete replacement with a much quicker installation and cure time. The board approved of the plan and moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Brandon Wiskow, and Co-Foreman, Tyler Brockway, drilled small holes throughout the concrete slabs that needed to be raised. Next, they injected the foam into the holes until the slabs were raised back to their original position. They covered up the holes with concrete and then sealed the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. The board members and homeowners were thrilled with the results and happy they can enjoy beautiful and level concrete for years to come!
