American Waterworks Before & After Photos

A homeowner from Arden Hills, MN, contacted us when they noticed their front stoop and connecting walkway were beginning to separate. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he decided to call American Waterworks and set up his FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Aidan, headed out to the property to assess the situation. Once he completed his walkthrough, he let our customer know that while the issue might seem daunting, the fix was rather simple. He explained that we would use our PolyLevel to restore the concrete slabs. Our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected under slabs. He said this method is cheaper, less invasive, and has quicker curing time than other remedies such as mudjacking or full replacement. The homeowner agreed and work was scheduled to begin a few weeks later. 

Our Foreman, Patrick, and his team arrived on the day of the installation and completed the project in no time. Once the project was complete, our homeowner was thrilled to know they no longer needed to worry about tripping hazards! 

A New Brighton, MN, homeowner was facing an issue with his basement. Whenever his area got rain, it always seemed to wind up in his basement, leaving small puddles. The homeowner knew that if he continued to let the problem go unchecked, he could run the risk of doing permanent damage to his space.  He began to look for interior waterproofing companies in MN and quickly found us. He scheduled his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brad W, was headed out to the home. 

Once Brad completed his inspection of the basement, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. Brad explained that he wanted to use three of our products to address the intrusion. First, Brad wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets adhered directly to the basement walls. It works to catch water entering through holes or cracks in the wall, directing it downward and into a perimeter system. Because the basement lacked a means of drainage, Brad recommended our WaterGuard system. This unique below-floor drain gets installed beneath the cement floor but atop the footing of the foundation, keeping it out of the 'mud zone' where similar drains tend to clog. This drain works to collect water entering from the CleanSpace, as well as any water coming up through holes in the foundation, giving the excess water a channel to flow freely to a disposal site such as a sump pump or discharge line. Brad noted that the basement was unequipped with a sump pump, so he recommended our SuperSump plus sump pump, an effective and economical solution for ridding your basement of water. The homeowner loved the sound of complimenting products and signed on the spot. 

The day of the installation eventually rolled around. Our Foreman, Kiko P, and his team were able to flawlessly install 60ft of both WaterGuard and CleanSpace and 1 SuperSump plus sump pump. Now our customer can rest easy knowing that his water intrusion issues were a thing of the past! 

A homeowner from Buffalo, MN, was facing a problem with his concrete driveway. Over the years, many slabs within the driveway had begun to sink. Some had sunken so badly that it had led to cracks in the concrete. The homeowner was tired of looking at his unsightly driveway, so he decided to take action to correct the issue. On the day of the estimate, our Design Specialist, Gary S, took his time evaluating the driveway and any connecting concrete. When he finished, he met with the homeowner. He started by saying that concrete can sink and crack for a variety of reasons, but nonetheless, American Waterworks could fix the issue with our PolyLevel injection. Gary explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete surfaces. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, slowly lifting the concrete back into place in the process. The homeowner agreed with Gary's recommendations and scheduled the job on the spot. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam K, led his team through a flawless lift and level. Now, our customer can put her uneven driveway worries to rest! 

Stephen T. in Scandia, MN noticed that his concrete driveway had sunk a little over an inch after the winter. While doing research for concrete repair contractors, he came across the American Waterworks website and was intrigued by our PolyLevel concrete repair solution. PolyLevel is a polymer foam that expands once it is injected into the concrete. The strong and durable foam fills the voids beneath the concrete and raises the slab. One of our PolyLevel experts drilled small holes into Stephen’s concrete slabs and injected the polymer foam until his driveway was once again even with the garage floor. The process only took half a day, and now Stephen will be able to enjoy beautiful, level concrete for years to come!
