A homeowner in Cologne, MN was wanting to find a solution for his sunken concrete apron right outside of the garage. It was frustrating to feel the large bump it had created every time he went in and out of the garage. He didn't know what the next best step was to fix the issue, so he went online to see what he could learn. Searching for concrete lifting services in Minnesota, one of the top results was the American Waterworks website. Once he found out about our FREE estimate appointments, he scheduled one for himself and awaited the arrival of one of our team members. Our Design Specialist, Tony Bach, visited the home to analyze the concrete apron and talk things through with the homeowner. Tony suggested installing our PolyLevel to lift the concrete slabs back up and be level with the garage floor again and the homeowner agreed. On the installation day, our Foreman, Troy Johnson, and his crew carefully injected just the right amount of PolyLevel to restore the space. They also sealed the joints with NexusPro for a smooth finish, and the homeowner was very happy with how it turned out.

Ken L. in Glenville, MN was concerned about the air quality in their basement. He had their basement tested for mold by another contractor and they confirmed that they did in fact have mold. They removed the mold and recommended that he look into having his basement waterproofed. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to their home to inspect his basement and design the right solution specific to their waterproofing needs. Ken was pleased with our thorough plan to waterproof their basement, so he chose to move forward with the installation.
Our production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor and drilled small holes through the wall which released the water that was built up. They laid the WaterGuard drainage system and installed the TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump system. The WaterGuard now properly guides water to the sump pump and the water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Lastly, they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system which protects the basement from humidity and future mold growth. They replaced the concrete and the project was complete! Ken’s basement has been completely transformed to a dry, healthier space, and his peace of mind has been restored.

A homeowner from Glenville, MN, was growing frustrated with his damp basement. It had been hot and humid for years, and in the interest of one day selling the property, the homeowner decided to begin the search for a basement waterproofing company in Glenville, MN. When he found our website, he decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brady, headed out to the home.
Once Brady concluded his inspection, he informed the homeowner that his professional recommendation would be to install our Basement to Beautiful Insulated Wall Panels. Brady explained that unfinished basements are notorious for lacking proper insulation, leading to cold floors, humid basements, and inefficient homes. Basement To Beautiful™ Basement Wall Panels are the superior choice for a dry, energy-efficient basement. Designed with the unique, advanced SilverGlo™ graphite-infused foam insulation, this insulation provides 24% more energy savings than conventional foam products. At 2 ½" thick and R-13 insulation, Basement To Beautiful™ panels create a warm, protective blanket around your basement that will never rot or support mold growth. The homeowner agreed with Brady's recommendations, and the job was scheduled for a few months later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Francisco, and his team ended up installing 79 ft of our Basement to Beautiful panels. Now, our customer can enjoy his home, knowing it's functioning efficiently!
Clint R. of Kilkenny, MN had a two-inch stoop from his patio to his step, causing safety concerns for himself and visitors. He went to his local home show in Owatonna to see if there were any contractors that could help him. He saw our booth there and talked with our Design Specialist, Nate Proper. After an in-depth conversation about his concrete problem, Clint scheduled a FREE Estimate. Nate inspected the problem, came up with a solution, and Clint followed through with the plan.
Our Foreman, Brandon Wiskow, injected 104 pounds of our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to raise and stabilize the surface. Our PolyLevel is a dense, unique foam that cures quick and adjusts within minutes. Clint was able to use his concrete the day off and was extremely satisfied with the turnout!
A homeowner from Kilkenny, MN, was down in her basement one day when she noticed a crack she hadn't seen before. The crack resembled a staircase and ran up the length of the wall. Upon further investigation, the homeowner was alarmed to find several of the same cracks on that wall. Fearing what a cracking foundation could mean for her home, she decided to find a company that could shed some light on the issue. One night, she saw our TV ad and decided to get in touch. She scheduled her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Eric H, headed out to the home.
Eric got right to work conducting his inspection. When he finished, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. Eric explained that foundation walls are designed to support loads from above, not from the side. When side pressure on your walls exceeds their ability to withstand the force, they begin to crack, bow, slide in at the bottom, and/or tilt inward at the top. Eric's recommendation, our GeoLock wall anchors, can counteract soil pressure by anchoring walls to stable, undisturbed soil outside the home. Thanks to threaded rods that extend through the wall, wall anchors can even be used to straighten walls in many cases. The homeowner liked the sound of Eric's plan and scheduled the installation for some time later.
On the day of the installation, our production team, led by their Foreman, Juan P, ended up installing 5 of our GeoLock anchors along the problem wall. Now, our customer can enjoy her basement knowing she conquered her foundation cracks!
