Gerald L. had a damp and musty crawl space. He was concerned about the air quality in his home and he was frustrated that he was losing energy through that space. While attending a local home show, Gerald visited our booth and spoke to one of our Design Specialists, Mac Cole. Mac assured him that we could solve his crawl space problem, so they set a time for Mac to provide Gerald with a free onsite inspection. Mac developed a thorough plan to permanently waterproof and encapsulate Gerald's crawl space. Gerald liked his proposal and felt we were a good fit for him, so he scheduled the installation.

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his crew removed the debris and installed a SmartSump sump pump, drainage matting, TerraBlock, SilverGlo and CleanSpace. They also sprayed our foam insulation along the rim joists to finising sealing the crawl space from the outside and installed a dehumidifier in the crawl space to get rid of the musty smell and humidity. The combination of these waterproofing products created a clean, dry, and energy efficient space. We were able to ensure that Gerald’s crawl space would permanently be protected from water seeping in. Gerald is glad he chose to protect his home for the long-term.

Harriet C. of Mindoro, WI had water seeping up through the floor of her basement. She had a beaver system that she wanted to be replaced for something more reliable. Our Foreman, Tremaine and his crew broke out the concrete around the pre-existing sump pump and replaced it with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which triples the protection, solves all three water problems in one unit, and comes with a battery backup in case of power failure. To complete the project, our crew filled the open gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them.

A homeowner in La Crosse, WI was concerned of the trip hazard that their sunken driveway has caused when entering into their home.  American Waterworks was able to raise the concrete slab back up to it's original position and the homeowner was absolutely thrilled.  

A homeowner in La Crosse, WI was looking to have her outdated wood paneling in her basement replaced with something a little more attractive and water resistant. As you can see in the before photo, the wood paneling and concrete walls do not go well together. And it looks like she may have previously had water damage in the area. 

American Waterworks replaced the outdated wall with our BrightWall basement wall panel system.  The BrightWall panels will work great in conjunction with her previously installed basement waterproofing system to keep her basement dry and comfortable. You can see in the after photo that the wall panels are durable, easy to clean and definitely brighten up her basement.

Beth K. in La Crosse, WI had been dealing with a wet basement for years. She had water seeping into her home where the floor met the wall, and it was creating a damp, and musty space. She was concerned about the damage to her home and the health implications. She did some research online and called American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists to meet with Beth and inspect her home. She approved of our products and the proposal and moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our SuperSump sump pump in the corner. Lastly, they filled back the gaps with rock, replaced the concrete, and cleaned up their work area. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump and is then discharged from the home. Beth is happy that her basement has since remained a dry and healthy space!
