Karla A. of Cambridge, MN had water leaking through her window, causing her to worry about her home. She found American Waterworks on HomeAdvisor, so she got in touch with our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad. Chad went to Karla's home, inspected her pre-existing window, and proposed our SunHouse Window Well, which is the perfect product to replace old, rotted, and debris-filled window wells. Karla was confident in the product, so she moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Raul B., and his crew dug out a small portion of the soil, took out the pre-existing window well, and replaced it with our SunHouse Window Well and its cover. Karla was happy with the job and her peace of mind was restored.

A homeowner in Cambridge, MN, noticed their steps were beginning to lower from their door. Unsure why this was happening, the homeowner wanted a professional to provide them with answers. The homeowner searched "concrete before and after near Cambridge, MN" and the first company to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. After taking a closer look at our company, the homeowner knew we were the best choice for them. The homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate and waited for the arrival of Gary, one of our Design Specialists. Gary arrived at the home and began his detailed estimate of the concrete surrounding the home. After Gary completed his evaluation of the concrete, he found the issues and was able to diagnose a solution. Gary recommended installing PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk to lift the stairs back into their original position. The homeowner agreed with Gary's recommendations, so they directed the plans to the office for approval. Once they were approved, they were passed along to our Foreman, Sam, and his crew. After Sam and his crew arrived, they started inserting the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the sidewalk. Next, the crew took out all the old joints and replaced them with NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant. The crew successfully replaced all the joints and then cleaned up the work area. Once the crew left, the homeowner inspected their work and was impressed. American Waterworks is happy to restore their sidewalk and stairs to their original state.
A Hamburg, MN, homeowner was growing frustrated over a corner of her basement that was taking on water. Not wanting the issue to worsen, she decided to begin the search for MN basement waterproofing companies. When she found our website, she decided to claim her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Eric H, headed out to the home.
Once Eric finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to deliver his findings and recommendations. He explained to the homeowner that American Waterworks could fix the issue with the help of two of our products. First, Eric wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This 100% waterproof tarp-like material gets applied directly to the wall, and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. The CleanSpace slowly directs the water down the wall and into our WaterGuard. Eric wanted to use our WaterGuard to catch water entering from the walls, as this below-floor drain works to direct water to the proper disposal site. This drain sits below the floor, on top of the footing of the foundation, but out of the mud zone, where other drains tend to clog. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan and scheduled the work for a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Kevin, and his team were able to install 59 ft of WaterGuard and CleanSpace throughout the basement. Now, our customer is thrilled to know she no longer needs to worry about a damp basement!
Steven from Hanover, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice his front concrete slab was sinking. He didn't want to risk water pooling and ruining the slab, so he called our office. We set him up with our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Jarrett, headed out to the property. After his inspection, he recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection. Jarrett explained that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that is meant to be injected below the slab, filling any voids caused by erosion while raising and stabilizing the slab. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Tyler, began the process by strategically drilling holes into the slab. Next, he injected the foam and was careful to monitor the lifting process to ensure no over-correction was made. When he finished lifting and leveling, he sealed any cracks or porous holes with our NexusPro to ensure no water would get under the slab. When the job was done Steven was happy to know his concrete slab wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon!
