A homeowner in Trimont, MN, felt it was time to have their basement inspected due to the concerning cracks growing along their walls. Since the homeowner has done work with us in the past, they felt comfortable calling our Appointment Center and signing up for their FREE estimate. After the FREE estimate was set, we sent one of our Service Technicians, Edgar, to investigate the status of the wall. When Edgar arrived, he met with the homeowner and then took a look at the wall. Edgar determined that the wall was showing early signs of wall failure. To stop the failure from continuing, Edgar recommended they install GeoLocks to permanently stabilize. Knowing this was the best option, Edgar agreed and the solution was directed to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Juan, and his crew traveled to begin the stabilization process. Upon arrival, they made sure the basement was cleared and ready for production. Then, the crew began installing five GeoLocks along the south wall. The homeowner requested that the tightening kit also be included in the job, so they could gradually straighten the wall over time. When the crew finished the GeoLock installation, they cleaned up the site and left the home. The homeowners were pleased with the excellent work completed by the crew. Charles W. in Saint James, MN had large, stair-step like cracks in three of his basement walls. He noticed they had started to bow inwards, so he decided it would be a good idea to have a professional look at it. A friend of his had a good experience with American Waterworks so he recommended that Charles contact us to repair his foundation. Charles called us for a free estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to his home to inspect the situation and find a solution for him. Charles was pleased with the thorough plan that Jeremy developed, and he felt that we were a good fit for him, so he scheduled the installation.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his crew strategically placed seventeen Geo-Lock wall anchors along the three bowing walls. The anchors are placed in the ground outside of the home and drilled into the basement walls. Then, the plates are screwed on and tightened. Once the plates are tightened, the walls straighten and stabilize. Charles can rest easy knowing he chose a permanent solution to secure his foundation because our anchors are backed by a lifetime warranty.

A customer from Saint James, MN got in contact with us when he had enough of unwanted water and moisture finding its way into his basement. He feared that if he left the issue unresolved, he could run the risk of developing mold and bacteria or damaging the structural integrity of the home. When he called our Appointment Center, we got him scheduled with our FREE estimate; a thorough inspection of the issue by one of our Design Specialists. When our Design Specialist stopped at the house, he completed his walk-through and made recommendations as to how we could remedy the issue. He began by informing the homeowner that water was entering the basement through cracks and porous holes in the wall. He said we could fix this issue by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along with our WaterGuard drainage system. He explained to the homeowner that the CleanSpace is a tarp-like material that gets tacked to the wall. It works to catch any water entering the home through the wall, directing it downwards. He went on to say that this is where the WaterGuard comes into play. This drainage system lies beneath the concrete of the floor and catches water dripping down the wall, directing it to the appropriate disposal site. The customer agreed with our recommendations and work began shortly after.
Our construction crew, led by Foreman Lane, ended up installing 100 ft of both the CleanSpace and WaterGuard throughout the basement of the home. When the job was completed, our customer was happy to know that no more unwanted water would find its way into his basement!

Our Foreman and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to raise it back to its normal position. Our PolyLevel is made to fill the voids underneath the concrete that was disrupted by soil erosion. Tim was happy with the repairs and loved the transformation!
