Water Seeping in Buffalo, MN

A homeowner in Buffalo, MN, was doing their laundry when they discovered standing water around their sump pump. Alarmed by this discovery, the homeowner immediately wanted to tackle the situation before it worsened. Knowing we have done great work in the past, the homeowner contacted our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Dylan. After Dylan arrived, he began his walkthrough of the basement. Following his detailed walkthrough, Dylan determined that the corner of the home required to be waterproofed. Dylan suggested that WaterGuard be installed in that corner of the home. After deliberating, the homeowners decided that this was their best option. As soon as they were given the okay, our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew traveled to begin the project. First, the crew had to half-demo the eastern corner wall. After the wall was half demolished, the crew was able to install the WaterGuard along the footing. After the crew installed the WaterGuard, they completed the installation and put the basement back in place. The homeowners were relieved to know their basement flood risk was diminished. American Waterworks is happy to provide another homeowner peace of mind.

Sinking Concrete Gets Lifted in Dalbo, MN

A Dalbo, MN, homeowner was walking up his walkway one morning when he took a tumble over his front stoop. This was odd to the homeowner, as the slab was supposed to be flush with the walkway. Upon a deeper look, he noticed that his concrete walkway appeared to be sinking! It was pulling away from the front stoop, resulting in his trip. He hopped on the internet and searched for 'concrete leveling near me'. After finding our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Gary S, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home.

Gary completed his inspection, and when he finished, he informed the homeowner that we could address the issue using our PolyLevel injection. Gary explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete. It fills voids left by soil erosion and, in the process, lifts concrete back to its desired location. Gary went on to say that he wanted to protect the lift with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the concrete and works to stand up against harsh weather conditions. The homeowner agreed with the proposed work and scheduled the job for some time later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Sam K, led his team through a swift and effortless lift, level, and seal. Now, our customer can step in peace, knowing his uneven concrete has been tackled.
