A New Ulm, MN, homeowner had noticed that her driveway had been showing signs of sinking over the years. Some areas were worse than others, like the concrete in front of her garage door. The concrete had sunken so much that it had lead to a a giant trip hazard. The homeowner no longer wanted to sacrifice safety, so she decided to search for MN concrete repair companies. When she found our website, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Tony B, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home.
Tony got right to work assessing the concrete slabs. When he finished, he met with the homeowner to inform him that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel injection. He informed the homeowner that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking slabs. It slowly fills voids left by soil erosion, in the process, lifting the slabs back to their original position. Tony explained that, in comparison to other alternatives like mud jacking or full replacement, PolyLevel is cheaper, less invasive, and less time-consuming. Tony went on to say that he wanted to safeguard the lift with the help of our NexusPro solution. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete. It's specifically designed to stand up against harsh weather conditions, ensuring that the vulnerable soil below is protected from the elements. The homeowner liked the sound of the non-invasive installation and signed on the spot.
The day of the project eventually rolled around. Our Foreman, Sam, led his team through a flawless lift and seal. Now, our customer can breathe easy knowing her trip hazards have been handled!
A New Ulm, MN, homeowner was enjoying a quiet morning at home when he walked across his main level floor and noticed an area that appeared to be sagging lower than the rest. She was uneasy about what this could mean for the home's structural integrity, and decided to look into Minnesota foundation contractors. When she found our website, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan W, headed out to the home.
When Dylan arrived at the home, he was directed down to the crawl space, where he would spend much of his inspection. When Dylan finished, he circled back with the homeowners to deliver his findings. Dylan explained that the crawl space could benefit from extra support, which he recommended to be our SmartJack system. The SmartJack crawl space stabilizer is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. It's unique in that it's made with strong, corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel. Because this system will not develop results, it will remain adjustable for years should further adjustments be needed down the road. The homeowner loved the idea of having a system that could be adjusted down the road and decided to schedule the project.
On the day of the installation, our team, led by their Foreman, Francisco E, was able to effortlessly install 2 of our SmartJacks. Now, our customers has a renewed sense of peace in her largest investment!
Ron M. of Monticello, MN had uneven concrete on his front porch. He wanted it fixed up before the end of summer, so he called American Waterworks to set up a Free Estimate. After a detailed diagnosis, Ron was content with Chad's proposal so he went ahead with the project.
Our foreman, Troy Johnson, and his production crew began the concrete repair by injecting our PolyLevel below the concrete to fill the gaps and stabilize the surface. PolyLevel is waterproof, it's not messy, and heavy loads can sit on it within 15 minutes after injection. To seal the cracks, our crew applied NexusPro, which is a special sealant made to provide long-term flexibility, and it gives the concrete a clean and neat appearance. Ron was very happy with the project and was glad he got in touch with American Waterworks when he did!
