Sharon M. of Round Lake, MN had sunken and cracked concrete on her front stoop and she wanted to get it repaired rather than replaced. She found American Waterworks and worked with our Design Specialist, Brain Ramirez. Brian wrote up a proposal for our PolyLevel and NexusPro, which are two of our main concrete products. Sharon was confident in the systems, so she followed through with the project.
Our Foreman, Dylon Mish, and his crew member injected our PolyLevel beneath the concrete, which is designed to raise the concrete and stabilize the surface to its natural position. Next, our crew applied our NexusPro over the crack, which is made to prevent water moisture from seeping underneath the concrete. It also gives the concrete a nice, clean finish.
At American Waterworks, we provide services in concrete lifting/repair, basement waterproofing, foundation repair, radon testing/mitigation, and crawl space repair/encapsulation. Call us today or click HERE to request your FREE estimate!
Larry G. in Heron Lake, MN had two cracked and bowing walls in his basement. He was worried about the pressure it was putting on his foundation and the damage it could cause, so he contacted the foundation repair experts at American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate.
After meeting with one of our Design Specialists, he chose to have wall anchors installed, which is one of our foundation repair products. Our production crew started the installation by drilling small holes through the block foundation and inserting long metal rods. They secured each end of the rod with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they could go, which permanently secured the wall. Wall anchors also provide the possibility for the wall to straighten over time. Larry was pleased with the installation and is glad he chose American Waterworks to permanently repair his foundation!

A Heron Lake, MN, homeowner noticed that the concrete patio outside of his home was showing signs of sinking. Worried about what this could mean, the homeowner decided to begin the search for a MN concrete repair company. When he found our website, he signed up for our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Tony B, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
Once Tony completed his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner. Tony began by informing the homeowner that concrete can experience sinking for a variety of reasons, but nonetheless, American Waterworks could help. Tony wanted to use our PolyLevel injection to address the sinking concrete. He explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion and slowly lift slabs back into place. The homeowner liked the sound of Tony's plan and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jordan, and his team were able to complete the lift with no issues. Now our customer can enjoy his freshly restored concrete!

A homeowner from Clements, MN, was out at a rental property one day when he noticed one of the basement walls was bowing significantly. He didn't want to risk the safety of the home for his tenants, so he decided to find a foundation repair specialist in Minnesota. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Eric H, headed out to the home.
When Eric arrived, he was directed to the basement, and he began his inspection. When he completed, he met with the homeowner. He began by saying that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from above, not the side. So when the pressure on the side of the wall exceeds what the wall can withstand, it's not uncommon to see cracking or bowing. Eric went on to say that while the issue sounds daunting, there is a simple fix. Eric recommended the installation of several of our C-Channel earth anchors. He explained that these anchors counteract the bowing wall by anchoring it to the hard-packed, undisturbed soil beyond the foundation, providing a permanent solution for bowing, buckling, tilting, or inward-moving foundation walls. The homeowner liked the sound of Eric's plan and scheduled the job on the spot.
When the project day rolled around, our Foreman, Jeremiah and his crew arrived bright and early at home. They wasted no time getting started, and after a long day, they had effortlessly installed 5 of our C-Channel anchors in the basement of the home. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing his rental property's foundation has been stabilized!
