Ray G. of Cottonwood, MN had water leaking throughout his crawl space causing mold build-up and moisture problems. After doing some research on the American Waterworks website, Ray set up a FREE Estimate for our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, to come to his home and inspect the problem. After a thorough inspection, Ray was comfortable with Jeremy's design, so he went ahead with the project.

Missy T. of Cushing, MN had water seeping into her crawl space, causing her to worry about pests, water moisture and humidity, and the overall value of her home. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton. Eric went to her home, carefully inspected her crawl space, and drew up a detailed solution that would fit her home repair needs and budget. Missy was excited about the proposal and was confident in our products, so she signed the contract, filled out a deposit check, and got an installation date on the schedule. 

Our Co-Foreman, Aaron Engen, and his crew began the project by installing our CleanSpace Moisture Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is a heavy-duty protectant that is used in the encapsulation process to transform the crawl space into a dry, clean, and energy-efficient part of the home. Next, our team installed our SmartDrain Drain System, which is a crawl space drain that includes a bottomless liner and an airtight lid. If a plumbing failure occurs, our SmartDrain will drain the water beneath the vapor barrier, preventing it from collecting in the crawl space. Lastly, our team applied spray foam around the floor cracks, which provides a dry and warm crawl space, while also reducing energy costs. A resident of Nisswa, MN had a bowing foundation wall and they wanted to get it fixed. They had American Waterworks come out for an inspection and estimate. The resident was confident in the proposal and design, so they moved forward with the project and got a date scheduled for the installation. Our Foreman and his crew installed our PowerBraces, which is a system design to stabilize and repair foundation walls over time. Jerry T. in Granite Falls, MN noticed that one of his garage foundation walls had a large exterior crack and it was bowing outward. He was concerned that the damaged wall was putting too much pressure on his foundation and did not want to get stuck in a situation where he had to replace the entire foundation. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we had one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, go to his home to develop the right solution unique to Jerry’s home. Jerry was pleased to hear that we could permanently secure his foundation by installing wall anchors, so he scheduled to have our foundation repair system installed.

Our production team started the installation process by drilling long metal rods into the soil underneath the garage floor and through the block foundation wall. They removed small rectangles of concrete from the garage floor where they would secure the other end of the rods. They screwed anchor plates on to the rods and tightened them as far as they would go. Lastly, they replaced the concrete in the garage and cleaned up. The process was quick and efficient. Jerry was very pleased with the results and is glad he chose to protect his foundation by having it permanently repaired.

Gene and Sharon B. of Granite Falls, MN had a wet basement, causing him to worry about damage to property and other water problems. They got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell. Ryan went to their home, carefully inspected their basement, and drew out a plan that worked for them and their home repair needs. They were confident in Ryan's proposal and they got all of their questions answered so they moved forward with the project and scheduled a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water and mud clogs, collects water leakage from basement walls, and serves as an underground drain. Next, Matt and his team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the entire wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and mildew, cover any holes or divots, and give the basement a bright and clean appearance. To finish the installation, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the space was cleaner than when they found it. Gene and Sharon were happy with the project and couldn't believe the transformation from beginning to end!
