A homeowner in Agrusville, ND, noticed water damage throughout their basement. Uncertain of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. Knowing they needed a professional solution, the homeowner began looking into "basement waterproofing solutions near Agrusville, ND". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our stellar ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew we were the best option for their home. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Ian, to arrive. Ian made his way to the home and began the detailed inspection of the basement. During his inspection, Ian found several areas where water was sneaking into the home. To prevent the flooding from continuing, Ian recommended fully waterproofing the basement. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with these recommendations. Next, Ian passed the plans to our Logistics team to approve and build the project. As soon as our Logistics team built and approved the plans, they were sent to our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew. Following their arrival, Franklin and his crew started the project by clearing the space for installation. Once the space was cleared, Franklin and his crew installed the WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. After the CleanSpace installation was complete, the crew attached an IceGuard to the outside discharge line. As soon as all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is delighted to keep another basement safe and dry.
Jeremy, from Halstad, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his basement wall was beginning to crack, showing clear signs of wall failure. Jeremy didn't want to risk compromising the structural integrity of the home more than it already was, so he decided to give us a call. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Richie, headed out to the property to complete his inspection. Once he concluded, he recommended the use of our PowerBrace system, steel I-beams that will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustments. Richie informed Jeremy that our PowerBraces have the option to be tightened over time, giving them added effectiveness. Jeremy agreed with Richie's recommendations. Our Production crew, led by our Foreman, Tremaine, ended up installing 6 of our PowerBraces throughout the space. Once the job was complete, Jeremy was happy to know he no longer needed to worry about his foundation issue.
A homeowner from Halstad, MN, was worried about her crawl space. Over the years, her and her family's allergies had worsened, leading her to believe there were airborne allergens trapped in her home. She suspected the home's crawl space was to blame, so she began to look for crawl space repair near Halstad, MN, and quickly found American Waterworks. She signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ian S, was out at the home. When Ian arrived, he wasted no time getting down into the crawl space. When he was finished, he met up with the homeowner to go over his findings and recommendations.
Ian began by saying that the crawl space needed some serious attention, so he recommended several of our products to fix the moisture issue. First, Ian recommended our CleanSpace and drainage matting combo, explaining that the CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly on the crawl space walls, functioning to collect any moisture entering through the foundation downward and keeping it out of the space. The drainage matting is laid down on the floor of the space before the CleanSpace is applied, giving the water collected by the CleanSpace a channel to flow freely to a drain or sump system. Next, Ian informed the homeowner that the water needed a means of escaping the space, which is where our SuperSump Plus would come into play. This effective yet economical sump pump is engineered for your peace of mind, making it the perfect choice to rid the crawl space of unwanted water. Next, Ian stated that he believed the crawl space to be energy inefficient, meaning that the space was making it harder to regulate the temperature in the home, as both cold and hot air were finding their way in and out of the crawl space due to tiny cracks and holes. Ian wanted to fix this problem with our Foamax Wall Panels. Foamax is a polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel with a white foil finish on the front and a foil vapor barrier on the back. The wall insulation panel offers several benefits, such as high insulation value, creating a warmer space, and brightening the basement, and can be left exposed, meaning the basement or crawl space can remain unfinished. Lastly, Ian informed the homeowner that even spaces with the most comprehensive waterproofing systems can still develop moisture and mold problems and can even feel damp. This is due to concrete walls and floors constantly absorbing moisture from the soil, releasing it into the air of the basement. Ian's final recommendation is that our AprilAire dehumidifier creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. The homeowner was thankful that Ian was forthcoming about all of the issues in the space and decided to address them all.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Kingsley C, and his team effortlessly installed 1,236 sqft of CleanSpace, 1,048 sqft of drainage matting, 266 sqft of Foamax, 1 super sump pump, and 1 AprilAire dehumidifier. Now our customer can put her crawl space concerns in the past!

A homeowner from Red Lake Falls, MN, was walking across their main level floor one day when they noticed a slight sag to the floor. Upon inspection, the naked eye could see that the floor was indeed uneven. The homeowner was worried about what this could mean for the structural integrity of the home. One night, he saw one of our TV ads informing him that we specialize in fixing failing foundations. He decided to schedule his FREE inspection, and several weeks later, Ian S, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home.
Ian got right to work assessing the space. When he completed it, he informed the homeowner that we could address the problem using our SmartJack system. Our SmartJack system provides soil support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists. Once installed, this system can correct problems such as sloping, overfly spring floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. Due to it's modern design, SmartJacks can be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling action if necessary. The homeowner liked the sound of Ian's plan, and signed on the spot.
When the installation day rolled around, our Foreman, RJ L, led his team through the successful installation of 4 of our SmartJacks throughout the basement. Now, our customer is thrilled to know that his foundation worries are in the past!
Cindy's concrete driveway was sinking and she wanted to get it lifted so it was even with the landing of her garage. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie. Richie went to Cindy's home, inspected her concrete driveway, and proposed our PolyLevel, which is a foam that gets injected underneath the concrete to raise and stabilize the surface. Cindy was confident in the product, so she went ahead with the project.
Our PolyLevel Foreman, Sam, and his crew member injected 197 pounds of our PolyLevel underneath the surface to fill the voids caused by soil erosion and to level out the surface. Cindy was thrilled with the work and decided to get our NexusPro installed in the upcoming spring.
