Once the SuperSump+ was secured, the crew shifted their focus to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Franklin and his crew completed the installation, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. After the CleanSpace installation was complete, the crew attached an IceGuard to the outside discharge line. Once approved, our Foreman and his crew got to work. First, 12 GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed; this innovative system permanently stabilizes foundation walls by anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. Our Foreman explained to Andrea that the anchors can be tightened over time. Then, the team got to work strategically placing PowerBraces around the basement, inserting 12 PowerBraces to stabilize the wall further. These were also installed with WaterGuard brackets for futureproofing. The PowerBrace system is an I-shaped beam that stabilizes and helps straighten the bow of the wall over time. The PowerBrace system is drilled into the home's support beams and the concrete on which the house lies.
