Our Design Specialist, Kole, traveled to Don's home to determine the best path forward. Following a thorough walk-through and a great discussion with the client, Kole created a proposal addressing water issues. 

This plan was implemented by our Foreman Cyrus, and his crew. They started the project by removing the stairs, installing WaterGuard around the perimeter, and tying it to the existing pump. This serves as an underground drain that will collect water seeping into the space. Next, Cyrus and the team added our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall in the garage to prevent mold and humidity and serve as a wall protectant.

Madella, a homeowner in Oakes, ND, was having significant issues in her basement space; water was entering the basement at the cove joint, where the floor and wall meet.

Specifically, with musty smells, mold, and moisture issues, Madella decided to call American Waterworks for a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Richie, headed to the property for an inspection, and once Madella and Richie chatted, a plan was made to implement solutions.

Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew began the project by clearing debris and readying the spaces for installation. Richie had advised Madella to invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing as it is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog. Next, the team installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address water Issues. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier installed right onto the problem walls and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. This also reduces the home's chances of being exposed to radon. The crew also used spray foam to seal and waterproof the homeowner's crawl space. Our spray foam is designed to keep the heat inside and prevent cool air from coming in.

A homeowner in Oakes, ND, tripped walking into their home one evening. Concered that others would be injured, the homeowner knew they needed to fix the issue. The homeowner began looking into "sunken concrete repair near Oakes, ND" and their eye was caught by us, American Waterworks. During his investigation, Dylan discovered the walkway was sinking into the ground due to settlement. To stop the settlement from continuing, Dylan recommended lifting and leveling the walkway back to its original state. The homeowner agreed with Dylan's recommendations, so he sent the proposal to our Logistics team to build the project. Once the project was built, the proposal was sent to our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew. Charlie and his crew traveled to the home and started the lift. The crew utilized PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam injection solution, to lift the walkway back to its original level. Once the walkway was lifted back to its original level, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the front yard cleaner than they arrived. A homeowner in Oakes, ND, was walking into their home when they tripped on uneven concrete. Worried someone could be seriously injured, the homeowner began looking into repair options near their home. The Logistics team built and scheduled the project and then sent it to our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew. Once Charlie and his crew received the plans, they traveled to Oakes and began the project. First, Charlie and his crew began by lifting the sinking walkway with PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam solution. Once the walkway was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to replacing several joints with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew, so they left a kind review. The SmartJack system restores stability and straightens sagging floor joists and can be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling if necessary. This SmartJack system was paired with a supplemental beam and Joist Assist Bracket to secure the system.
