Marylyn M. of Trempealeau, WI had water coming into her basement through the holes in her walls during heavy rains. She was nervous about the problems occurring enough to the point it would damage her property. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck went to her home, carefully inspected the problems in her basement, and drew up some options that would cure the problem. She was confident in one of Chuck's plans, so she signed the contract and got a date scheduled for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Tremaine Jackson, and his production team started the installation by jackhammering out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water and mud clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our FoamMax HalfWall Panels around the wall perimeter. Our FoamMax is a special foam insulation that provides comfort and saves energy bills while making the basement look neat and bright. To complete the installation, Tremaine and his crew covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. Marylyn was happy with the new view of her basement!

She did some research on nearby basement waterproofing contractors and came across American Waterworks. She got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Charles Haldeman. Charles went to her home, thoroughly inspected her basement, and came up with a solution that fit her needs. 

Our Foreman, Spencer Garland, and his production team began the process by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drainage system, prevents water clogs, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, which prevents mold and humidity, and acts as an extra wall protectant for leaking basement walls. Our TripleSafe is the best sump pump in the industry, it comes with a battery back-up, and it solves all three water problems in one system, especially during harsh weather conditions. To complete the installation, Spencer and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Hilary was happy with the repairs and could not believe the transformation!  

A customer from Blair, WI got in touch with us when he began to notice one of his basement walls was beginning to show signs of movement, a symptom of the first stage of wall failure. He knew that if he waited, the problem could result in serious damage to the structural integrity of the home. When he called in, we set him up with a FREE estimate with one of our Design Specialists, Dustin. When Dustin headed out to the property, he completed a thorough inspection of the issue and then made recommendations as to how we could help. He recommended the use of our GeoLock wall anchors to fix the issue. He explained that our anchors work to permanently stabilize the wall by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation of the home. He went on to say that once installed, the anchors can be tightened over time to move with the home. The customer agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Production crew led by our Foreman, Jose, ended up installing 6 of our GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the basement. Once the job was completed, our customer was happy to know that he no longer had to worry about his compromised basement wall!
