Patricia W. of Arcadia, WI had water leaking into her basement, causing flooding hazards and stains in her basement, due to the high percentage of iron. Iron ochre is a rust-colored bacterium that dissolves in water and attaches to pipes, and eventually results in complete blockage. To resolve the problem, she called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Hector Garcia, to learn more about our basement waterproofing repair products. Hector went to Patricia's home to inspect the problems and come up with a solution. After a thorough inspection, Patricia was comfortable with Hector's proposal, so she moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our Iron Ochre Perimeter Drain. This system is ideal for managing difficult iron water problems. The wide-open design of the drain helps it resist clogs, while a removable lid allows for easy access and maintenance. Next, our production team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, cover any holes or divots, and provide the space with a neat and clean appearance. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Patricia was very thankful we were able to help serve her and her home repair needs!

Next, our team installed our FoamMax Wall Panels, which reduces the condensation for moisture protection and prevents mold and humidity. Lastly, our Foreman and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners because it triples the protection, solves all three water problems in one unit, and comes with a battery back-up. A homeowner in Arcadia, WI was interested in increasing the curb appeal of his home. He hadn't done any kind of repairs to the area since moving in and wanted to make some changes for the upcoming year with his front walkway. Looking online to find a solution, his goal was to find something that wouldn't cause too much disruption to the concrete and not break the bank. He found our website and was impressed with the American Waterworks reviews page that showed our positive comments from past customers. He also was interested in our FREE estimate appointments and signed up for his own. We received his request and sent over Design Specialist Darin Stenglein to the home to carry out a detailed inspection. Darin informed the homeowner that installing our PolyLevel solution would help to lift the walkway back up and NexusPro sealant would work to seal in the empty joints that currently stood out. The homeowner agreed to the plans and waited for the project date to come. Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his crew arrived at the site and installed the two products to restore the walkway area. The homeowner was impressed with the work done and happy with the final results.

James from Stanley, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice the walls of his shed were beginning to show signs of cracking, indicating wall failure. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, he would face more serious wall failure down the road or water intrusion from the cracks. We set him up with our FREE estimate when he called our office. A few weeks after the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Chuck, headed out to the property to see what could be done to help fix the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he had a few recommendations. First, he wanted to use our Geo-Lock Channel Anchors and GeoLock Anchors to fix the cracking wall. He explained to James that our wall anchors are designed to be quick, with minimal disturbance to your home or landscaping. He went on to say that the Channel Anchors would immediately stabilize walls pushing in at the bottom by connecting to an earth anchor embedded in the soil. He then said that our GeoLock anchors help the bowing walls by anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Matt, and his crew ended up installing 4 channel anchors as well as 13 of our GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the shed as well as an unattached boathouse. Now James can have peace of mind knowing his shed's foundation will be stable for years to come.
