Sealed Pool Deck in Eleva, WI

A homeowner in Eleva, WI was looking forward to the warm summer months and enjoying her in-ground pool. She was outside cleaning one day and noticed how dull and damaged the pool deck was and became curious about what it would take to refresh the space. She went online to look for an effective solution and found our website. After looking through the American Waterworks reviews from past customers, she knew she wanted to work with us and signed up for one of our FREE estimates. Our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman, arrived at the site ready to inspect the concrete, answer any questions the homeowner had, and give his own recommendations. Chuck decided that our NexusPro and SealantPro products would be the perfect solution to give the pool deck a new look and prevent damage to it in the future. The homeowner agreed to the plans and was excited to move forward with the process. One of our Foremen, Reese Rinken, and his crew then went to the site and carefully filled the joints and sealed the surface of the deck with the products. The homeowner was thrilled with the results and ready to spend the summer using the space.

Sump Pump Replaced in Cadott, WI

George and Pauline O. of Cadott, WI had water leaking from their pre-existing sump pump, making them nervous about flooding. They saw an American Waterworks yard sign in their neighborhood, so they called the main office line and asked about our sump pump installations. We set them up with a FREE no-obligation estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to their home, inspected their problems, and came up with a solution of our SuperSump Plus sump pump. George and Pauline were confident in the product and its warranty, so they went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his crew cut out the concrete around the pre-existing sump pump and replaced it with our SuperSump Plus. Our SuperSump is made to keep basements dry and healthy for long periods of time, especially during harsh weather conditions. Our team completed the installation by covering the open gaps with river rock and applying new concrete over it.

Concrete Sidewalk Saved in Cadott, WI

A homeowner in Cadott, WI, did not like the appearance of the sidewalk in front of their home. Instead of letting the issue continue, the homeowner began looking into their concrete repair options. The homeowner wanted to avoid total concrete replacement, so they tried to narrow their search to concrete repair near them. After doing research into their options, the homeowner's eye was caught by our lifting and leveling services. After seeing we offer FREE estimates, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for theirs. Once the appointment was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Romeo, one of our Design Specialists. When Romeo arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began the detailed estimate. Romeo determined the sidewalk was sinking due to soil settlement and recommended that it be lifted and leveled using the PolyLevel. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Romeo's recommendations. The plans were sent to the assigned crew and production commenced. Our crew arrived at the home and began the lifting and leveling process. First, the crew lifted the sidewalk in front of the home. Once the sidewalk was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to the driveway apron. The crew successfully lifted all the affected areas, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the wonderful work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist the homeowner in resolving their concrete issues.

Sinking Front Stairs Get Lifted in St. Charles, MN

Jill from St. Charles, MN, gave us a call when she began to notice that the stairs in front of her home were beginning to sink, creating a gap between the concrete stairs and the slab below. She was afraid that if she didn't address the issue she would run the risk of a tripping hazard forming, potentially costing more to fix later down the road. When she called in she was able to use her FREE estimate, which entitled her to a 3-hour inspection into the issue by one of our Design Specialists from our concrete and radon division. Once he arrived at the property he did his walkthrough, and when completed, made recommendations as to how we could help Jill. Our Design Specialists wanted to use our PolyLevel to lift and level the slab. He explained to Jill that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that, when injected below a concrete slab, fills the gaps caused by soil erosion and raises and stabilizes the concrete surface. To finish the project, he recommended Jill allow us to use our NexusPro joint and crack sealant. He informed Jill that our NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions, ensuring that your concrete will be kept safe from unwanted moisture. Jill gave the green light and work began shortly after. Our Production crew, led by Foreman Ben K., began the process by strategically drilling holes into the concrete slabs, and then injected the foam into the holes. They closely monitored the lifting and leveling process to ensure that the slab returned to its former state. To finish the project, they went over all cracks and joints between the house and the concrete with our NexusPro. When the work had been completed, Jill was happy to know that the potential tripping hazard had been dealt with.
