Sunken Concrete Slab Causes Trip Hazard in Nashua, IA

Don in Nashua, IA contacted us regarding a concrete issue at his business. He had two large garage doors on each end of his shop, and the concrete slabs right outside the garage doors had sunken and caused a trip hazard. We sent a Design Specialist out to his shop to inspect the concrete and provide him with a FREE estimate.

Don was impressed with our PolyLevel concrete repair solution, so he chose to move forward with the project. Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete slabs and injected the polymer foam. Once the slabs were completely raised, they filled back the holes with concrete and sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant. The sealant protects the concrete and gives it a nice, finished look. Don was thrilled with the results and is glad he chose American Waterworks to repair his concrete!

Struggling Sump Pump Replaced in Fall Creek, WI

A homeowner in Fall Creek, WI, knew it was about time for their annual maintenance appointment. Since they scheduled the appointment with our Design Specialist, the homeowner knew the date was approaching. The homeowner called our service coordinators to double-check the date and times and then confirmed they would be working with our Service Technician, Jack. A few weeks later, Jack arrived at the home and began the annual maintenance inspection. During his inspection, Jack noticed the sump pump was not acting right. Additionally, Jack noticed the walls were quite damaged and leaking cold air. To prevent these issues from worsening, Jack recommended installing a sump pump and CleanSpace. Trusting our excellent work, the homeowner knew they were in the best hands. The homeowner agreed with Jack's proposal and the plans were passed along to our Logistics team to approve the project. After the project was finalized, Jack traveled back out to the home to install the TripleSafe Sump Pump and CleanSpace on the unfinished basement walls. Basement Wall Repair in Alta Vista, IA

GeoLock Anchor Wall SystemA homeowner from Alta Vista, MN had been keeping an eye on their bowing basement wall for a few years when they finally decided it was time to search for a remedy to the problem. After speaking with neighbors and friends, they decided to reach out to American Waterworks to see what they would be looking at. Once they scheduled their FREE, no-obligation estimate they were able to get a date on the calendar for one of our Design Specialists to come out to the home and conduct a thorough walkthrough.

Once the inspection had been completed, our Design Specialist was ready to make his recommendations as to how to fix the failing wall. He informed the homeowner that the basement could benefit from the use of our GeoLock Wall Anchor System. He informed the homeowner that this solution has minimal disturbance of the home, and is designed to permanently stabilize foundation walls by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation of the home. He went on to say that after the installation is complete, wall anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the foundation walls to pull them back to their original position.

Our Foreman and his team ended up installing 16 of our GeoLock anchors throughout the space. Now our customer can enjoy their basement without fearing a failing foundation.

Sinking Driveway in Cochrane, WI

Kevin E. in Cochrane, WI realized that after the seasons changed from winter to spring, his driveway had begun to sink. Which was causing an uneven surface from the driveway to his garage. He stopped by the American Waterworks booth at a local home show and spoke with our Design Specialist, Mac Cole, about the problem he was having with his concrete. Mac explained our PolyLevel foam injection solution and set up a time to come to his home and do a FREE estimate. Mac developed a plan to inject PolyLevel into multiple areas of the concrete to raise the driveway to be level with the garage.

Our Foreman, Brandon Wiskow, completed the PolyLevel injection in a couple of hours. Kevin was able to see the transformation right away because our PolyLevel foam only takes about 30 minutes to cure after it is injected. Kevin was pleased that this option was more affordable and faster than traditional concrete repair, all while still being a durable solution.
