Janet S. of Rollingstone, MN had water leaking throughout her entire basement, making her feel nervous and unsafe living in her own home. A friend of hers referred American Waterworks for the repairs, so she called our office line and set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Fox. Eric went to her home, inspected the problems, and came up with a solution that fit her needs and budget. Janet was confident with Eric's presentation and proposal, so she went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. He also broke out a trench down the middle of the basement to form a feed line. The feed line serves as a guide for water to get to the sump pump. In the perimeter trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water clogs, serves as an underground drain, and collects water leaking from basement walls. Then, Edgar and his crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, and acts as an extra wall protectant. It also gives the room a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, our crew filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete. Janet was happy with the work that was completed and had a remarkable experience!
