A homeowner in Wahpeton, ND, noticed their steps were damaged and uneven. Worried this could turn into a major trip hazard, the homeowner looked into "before and after concrete repair near me". At the top of the list was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner took a closer look at our concrete lifting and leveling services. Impressed with our stellar ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew we were the ideal choice for their home. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Ian. The following week, Ian promptly arrived at the home and started the thorough inspection of the concrete. During the inspection, Ian noted that several areas were suffering from settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Ian suggested securing PolyLevel below the sinking slabs. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Ian to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. Charlie and his crew inserted PolyLevel below the sinking slabs. Once the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted to repairing the joints with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Once the products were secured, Charlie and his crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. Jessica C. of Bingham Lake, MN had water leaking from her basement walls and wanted repairs to provide a wet-free and energy-efficient atmosphere in her basement. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton. Eric went to her home to inspect her problems and come up with a permanent solution. Jessica got all of her questions answered, so she followed through with the project.
Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed 65 feet of our WaterGuard System, which acts as an underground drain, collects water seepage from basement walls, and directs water to the floor drain. Next, our team installed 34 feet of our Basement to Beautiful Wall Panels around part of the wall perimeter. These wall panels act as an extra 2.5-inch wall protectant for all basements and prevent mold growth. To finish the installation, Raul and his team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Jessica was very grateful we were able to help her, and her home repair needs!

Our Foreman and his crew started the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which prevents water clogs, collects water seepage from basement walls, and serves as an underground drain. Next, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which triples the protection, solves all three water problems in one system, and comes with a battery backup in case of power failure. To finish the project, our crew covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the basement was neater and cleaner than when they found it.

A customer from Montevideo, MN got in touch with us when a crack began forming on his block basement wall. He feared that if he left the issue unresolved, he would risk severely compromising the home's structural integrity. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a free, no-obligation inspection by one of our System Design Specialists. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Eric H. headed out to the property to assess the situation. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make a recommendation as to how we could help correct the issue. Because the wall was beginning to bow inward, Eric wanted to use our GeoLock Wall Anchors to address the problem. He explained that this innovative wall anchor system would permanently stabilize the foundation of the home by anchoring the wall to the virgin soil beyond the foundation. He went on to say that after the initial installation, the anchors can often be tightened over time to further straighten the foundation wall and pull them back into its original position. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Chris, and his crew ended up strategically installing 5 GeoLock anchors along the problem wall. Once the job was completed, our customer was happy to know that his foundation worries were in the past!
A Montevideo, MN, homeowner was facing an issue with her basement. Each time it rained, small amounts of water found its way into her basement and settled on her floor. She searched for 'basement repairs near me' and eventually found our website. She was impressed with the other work we had done in her area, so she decided to schedule her FREE estimate. Several weeks later, Ryan P, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home.
When Ryan arrived, he got right to work assessing the space. When he finished, he informed the homeowner that he believed that the water intrusion issue could be handled with our SuperSump sump pump. This pump is effective and economical, including a powerful Zoeller 1/3 horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner agreed with Ryan and scheduled the job on the spot.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Matt Z, and his team were able to place the sump with no issues. Now, our customer can enjoy a water-free basement!
