A homeowner in Alma, WI, was cleaning around their porch when they discovered that the foundation was cracking. Nervous about the effects it could have on the structure, the homeowner decided to have a professional visit to take a look. After seeing all the positive appraisals, the homeowner decided to contact American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. Once the appointment details were finalized, we sent our Design Specialist, Brian, to the home to evaluate the status of the foundation. Following his evaluation, Brain suggested that the walls be permanently stabilized and concrete be lifted. The homeowner agreed with Brian's suggestions and a crew was assigned to complete the task. Our Foreman and his crew went to the home and began the project. The crew began by attempting to lift and level the concert in the garage using the PolyLevel. Additionally, they attempted to fill the crack on the garage floor. After lifting the garage floor, the crew shifted their focus to stabilizing the failing walls. For this case, the crew decided to incorporate Geo-Locks to stabilize the cracking wall underneath the porch. Finally, the crew cleaned the job site and ensured everything was installed properly. The homeowner was pleased with the completed project. If you are experiencing a similar issue, sign up for your FREE estimate today!
Donald D. in Spring Valley, MN had a bowing foundation wall in his basement and decided it was time to have it looked at by a professional to try and prevent any further damage. Donald had worked with us before and had a good experience, so he trusted that we would be able solve his foundation problem. He met with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, for a FREE estimate. Rick determined that the best solution would be to install 4 wall anchors to stabilize the wall. Donald agreed that was the best course of action, so he scheduled the installation.
The installation took a day to complete and Donald was able to see the dramatic change in the stability of the wall once the anchors were tightened. Donald was glad that he chose to permanently protect his foundation from further deterioration instead of having to potentially replaced the entire foundation.

A homeowner in Spring Valley, MN, noticed water stains on their basement floor. Unsure where the water was coming from, the homeowner wanted an expert to inspect their basement. After asking their neighborhood Facebook group, the homeowner saw several members recommended working with us. The homeowner went to our website to inspect the work we do and they were impressed with our services. Since they were already on the website, they signed up for their FREE estimate. When the appointment was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Eric, a Design Specialist. When Eric arrived at the home, the homeowner showed him where they discovered the water stains. After taking a closer look at the basement, Eric determined the basement needed a waterproofing makeover. Eric proposed that WaterGuard be installed in the basement to stop further intrusion. The homeowner decided to follow Eric's suggestions and the plans were directed to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew were assigned to the job, so they gathered their materials and made their way to the home. Upon arrival, the crew prepped the basement for installation. When they were ready, the crew installed the WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. After the WaterGuard was installed, the crew shifted their focus to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once the CleanSpace was attached, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful to know their basement was properly waterproofed. American Waterworks is happy to provide another homeowner peace of mind in their basement.
In Spring Valley, MN, a homeowner had an uneven driveway as well as large cracks that had formed. She was worried that would be a tripping hazard and did not want to keep pushing the project any longer. She decided to search for concrete services in the area and came upon our website. She was impressed with our 5-star reviews and contacted us to schedule her FREE estimate.
Our Design Specialist, Ross J., arrived at the home in a couple of weeks to assess the driveway. He explained to the homeowner that it is common to see cracks and an uneven driveway due to soil washout. When it rains or floods, the water moves through the ground under the concrete slab, causing the supporting soils to wash away. As this continues, it creates voids and spaces under the slab, eventually causing the concrete to sink. It was due to this reason that Ross recommended our PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. The homeowner happily agreed to his suggestion and decided to move forward with the project. Ross's design was then sent to our Foreman, Dylon V.
In about a month, Dylon and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They first began with lifting the concrete by drilling small holes into the slabs. Then, injection ports are installed, and the PolyLevel is injected through the hole. The PolyLevel expands beneath the concrete, lifting it. Once this is done, the small holes are concealed with concrete, and the crew moves on to sealing the cracks and joints with NexusPro. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
Now, our customer can have peace of mind knowing that her driveway is smooth, even, and crack-free. Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE to schedule your FREE estimate today!
A previous client of ours from Charles City, IA reached out to us after concerns that their sump pump wasn't keeping up with the demands of their basement and kept the basement feeling very damp.
American Waterworks recommended installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier system to take control of the water and humidity and prevent any further heat loss. We also installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump with battery backup to ensure that these homeowners never have to worry about a wet basement again.
