A homeowner in Cornell, WI, noticed their sidewalk drastically worsening over time. Although they knew they needed a solution, they wanted to avoid replacing the entire sidewalk. While watching television one evening, the homeowner noticed one of our commercials and they decided to look into our company further. After seeing that we offer concrete lifting and leveling services, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the FREE estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Chuck, one of our Design Specialists. Soon after Chuck arrived, he greeted the homeowner and began investigating the status of the sidewalk. Chuck determined that the sidewalk was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the sidewalk from further damage, Chuck suggested that the entire sidewalk be lifted, leveled and joints sealed. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Chuck's suggestions. As soon as they were approved, the plans were directed to our Foreman, Jacob, and his crew to begin production. When the crew arrived, they began by inserting the PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk. Once the entire sidewalk was lifted and leveled, the crew filled the joints with the NexusPro Joint Sealant. Once the sidewalk was lifted and repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was pleased with the work completed by the crew. A homeowner in Chippewa Falls, WI called us with concerns that his 10 step entrance to his home was sinking off.
American Waterworks was able to raise the sinking staircase with our trusted PolyLEVEL System. PolyLEVEL permanently lifts and stabilizes sinking concrete slabs with a high density polyurethane foam unlike traditional mudjacking services that will eventually wash the soil away and create another void.
Diane P. in Chippewa Falls, WI had water leaking into her basement. She was concerned about the damage that it was causing to her home and was worried that the air quality was compromised, so she contacted American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to her home to inspect her basement and design a solution. Shane worked closely with Diane to create the right waterproofing plan for her home. She approved of the proposal and moved forward with an installation date.
Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed a SuperSump sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the wall. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, and Diane is glad she made the investment to protect her home.

Deanna H. of Chippewa Falls, WI had water leaking into her basement and she wanted to get it inspected as soon as possible. She got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Charles Haldeman. Charles went to her home, inspected her problems, and came up with a solution. Deanna was comfortable with the presentation, products, and warranties, so she scheduled an installation date.
Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to collect water seepage from basement walls and act like an underground drainage system. Next, our team installed our FoamMax Wall Panels, which is a foam insulation panel with a white foil on the front and foil vapor barrier on the back. This wall insulation makes the basement much warmer, makes it brighter, and it can be left exposed. To complete the project, our crew covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Deanna was satisfied with the project, and appreciated all efforts involved!
