A homeowner from Stewartville, MN contact us when they began to notice unwanted cold air entering their crawl space, creating an energy inefficient space. Ron H. in Elkton, MN had a musty smell coming from his dirt crawl space. He also noticed that it was very humid and he was concerned that energy was being lost through the crawl space. He saw a commercial for American Waterworks and was interested to learn more about our crawl space encapsulation services, so he contacted us for a FREE estimate. Our production team installed drainage matting along the dirt floor and installed our SuperSump sump pump in the corner of the crawl space. Then, they encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier system which protects the space from moisture and potential mold growth. Lastly, they placed a SaniDry dehumidifier in the crawl space to control the humidity. The process took a couple of days to complete, but Ron now has a bright, clean and healthy crawl space.
