A homeowner in Klemme, IA, began hearing alarming noises in their basement. Concerned by the sound, the homeowner began searching for the source. After looking, the homeowner discovered the sound was coming from their sump pump. The homeowner wanted a professional to inspect their sump pump, so they looked into "sump pump replacement Iowa". One of the first companies to show up was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner took a closer look at our services. The homeowners were impressed with our products and knew they wanted to work with us. Next, they called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Since they had already worked with us, we sent one of our Service Technicians, Jack, to the home to perform the estimate. Following Jack's arrival, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began the inspection. During his inspection, Jack determined the sump pump needed to be replaced. Jack proposed his plan to the homeowner and they agreed. Next, the plans were passed along to our Foreman, Edgar, and his crew to start the installation. Once they arrived, Edgar and his crew began by taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. After the sump pump was replaced, the crew shifted their focus to installing a standard discharge line. Next, the crew attached an IceGuard to the outside discharge line. Edgar and his crew successfully installed all the products in the home, so they cleaned up their materials and left. The homeowner was relieved to know they have the best sump pump installed in their home. American Waterworks is happy to replace its homeowner's struggling sump pumps.

Jeremy from Glenwood City, WI got in touch with us when he began to notice unwanted water entering his basement. He was afraid that if left untreated, the problem would worsen and cause serious damage. When he called in we set him up with our FREE estimate and shortly after our Design Specialist, Mac, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make his recommendations as to how we could help fix the issue. Mac wanted to use three of our products to rid the space of water. First, he wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to redirect water. Mac explained that this tarp-like material gets installed directly onto basement walls and works to direct the flow of water down to his second recommendation, our WaterGuard French drainage system. He went on to say that the WaterGuard is installed below the concrete flooring and works to direct water to the appropriate location. For that location, Mac recommended a SuperSump sump pump. He explained that this effective and economic solution is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for an extended period of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion, as it's capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Raul, and his team ended up installing 78 ft of our WaterGuard drainage system, 1 SuperSump sump pump, and another 78 ft of our CleanSpace. When the job was complete our customer was happy to know he no longer had to worry about water entering his basement.

Lastly, they installed the SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of any humidity and cleaned up their work area.
