Once Kiko and his crew arrived at the home, they prepared the home for the WaterGuard installation. The WaterGuard is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. As soon as the preparations were complete, the crew dug and placed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Additionally, the crew dug a feed line from the sump pump to tie it into the new WaterGuard system. The crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. After comparing several companies, the homeowner's eye was only caught by one company, American Waterworks. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dustin. A few weeks later, Dustin promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection. During his inspection, Dustin confirmed that water was leaking from the bottom of several basement walls. To prevent these issues from occurring, the homeowner recommended installing several waterproofing products throughout the basement. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, and then it was assigned to our Foreman, Lane, and his crew. A few weeks later, Lane and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Lane and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to taking out the old sump pump. After the old sump pump was removed, the crew installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump. As soon as all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Our Foreman, Crescencio, and his production crew started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls.

Next up was our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which has three levels of protection to solve all water problems a homeowner may experience. Along with the TripleSafe Sump Pump is a battery backup that helps in cases where power is lost in a home, the battery will keep the pumps draining any excess water build-up. Once the job is done, the production team then places a new layer of concrete around the TripleSafe to provide a cleaner and more finished look.

To complete the project, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
