A homeowner in Hayfield, MN, knew it was time to repair their water-damaged basement walls. To complete the project correctly, the homeowner knew they needed a professional to provide them with a solution. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dustin. When the appointment date arrived, Dustin promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough investigation of the basement. During his inspection, Dustin discovered that the north wall was leaking the most water. To prevent this issue from worsening, Dustin recommended installing several waterproofing products along the struggling wall. Knowing this was their best action plan, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Dustin's recommendations. Next, Dustin passed the proposal to our Logistics team to give the final stamp of approval. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, and then it was assigned to our Foreman, Kiko. A few weeks later, Kiko traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Kiko and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, Kiko and his crew installed the TripleSafe, one of our elite sump pump systems. Finally, Kiko and his crew completed the project by installing CleanSpace on the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. A Hayfield, MN,  homeowner was in the process of upgrading his basement when he had the idea to add a bedroom to the space. He was worried that this bedroom wouldn't be up to code because of the improper means of egress, so he decided to find a contractor who specialized in this area. He had previous work foundation work done by American Waterworks, and decided to give us a call for another FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialists were scheduled to stop at the home. 

When our Design Specialist arrived, he launched right into his inspection, meeting with the customer when he had finished. Water was leaking into the Pine River Methodist Church causing water moisture, flooding hazards, and a funky smell. They called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to the church, inspected the problems, and came up with a solution that worked for management and their budget. Management was confident in Chad's proposal and presentation, so they signed the contract, wrote out a deposit check, and got the installation project on the schedule. 

Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team began the repairs by taking back the carpet, and breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent water and mud clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System around the half-wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, act as an extra wall protectant, and guide water into the WaterGuard System. Lastly, Ryan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System in the corner. Our TripleSafe is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners, it solves all three water problems in one system, and it provides three layers of protection. To complete the installation, our crew covered and filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it.
