Barbara G. in Eleva, WI was unhappy with her uneven and cracked garage floor. She wanted it completely level and to have the cracks sealed. After researching concrete repair contractors and receiving estimates, she decided to have American Waterworks repair her concrete.
Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete to inject a polymer foam called PolyLevel. Once the foam is injected into the concrete, the foam expands and raises it. They injected the foam into multiple spots in the floor until the concrete was raised and level to its original position. Then, they sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete and give it a nice, finished look. The process only took a couple of hours, and Barabara was very pleased with the results!

Jill from St. Charles, MN, gave us a call when she began to notice that the stairs in front of her home were beginning to sink, creating a gap between the concrete stairs and the slab below. She was afraid that if she didn't address the issue she would run the risk of a tripping hazard forming, potentially costing more to fix later down the road. When she called in she was able to use her FREE estimate, which entitled her to a 3-hour inspection into the issue by one of our Design Specialists from our concrete and radon division. Once he arrived at the property he did his walkthrough, and when completed, made recommendations as to how we could help Jill. Our Design Specialists wanted to use our PolyLevel to lift and level the slab. He explained to Jill that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that, when injected below a concrete slab, fills the gaps caused by soil erosion and raises and stabilizes the concrete surface. To finish the project, he recommended Jill allow us to use our NexusPro joint and crack sealant. He informed Jill that our NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions, ensuring that your concrete will be kept safe from unwanted moisture. Jill gave the green light and work began shortly after. Our Production crew, led by Foreman Ben K., began the process by strategically drilling holes into the concrete slabs, and then injected the foam into the holes. They closely monitored the lifting and leveling process to ensure that the slab returned to its former state. To finish the project, they went over all cracks and joints between the house and the concrete with our NexusPro. When the work had been completed, Jill was happy to know that the potential tripping hazard had been dealt with.
In Spring Valley, MN, a homeowner had an uneven driveway as well as large cracks that had formed. Our Design Specialist, Ross J., arrived at the home in a couple of weeks to assess the driveway. He explained to the homeowner that it is common to see cracks and an uneven driveway due to soil washout. When it rains or floods, the water moves through the ground under the concrete slab, causing the supporting soils to wash away. As this continues, it creates voids and spaces under the slab, eventually causing the concrete to sink. It was due to this reason that Ross recommended our PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. The homeowner happily agreed to his suggestion and decided to move forward with the project. Ross's design was then sent to our Foreman, Dylon V.
In about a month, Dylon and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They first began with lifting the concrete by drilling small holes into the slabs. Then, injection ports are installed, and the PolyLevel is injected through the hole. The PolyLevel expands beneath the concrete, lifting it. Once this is done, the small holes are concealed with concrete, and the crew moves on to sealing the cracks and joints with NexusPro. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
