A homeowner from Rochester, MN, got in touch when she noticed that her concrete patio was sinking. Not wanting anyone to get hurt on the trip hazard, she decided to call American Waterworks and set up her FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Aidan H, headed out to the home to assess the concrete.
Once Aidan finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Aidan explained that we could address the sinking by using our PolyLevel lifting solution. Our PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete slabs, slowly filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back to its original position. Aidan went on to say that we finish our lifting project with the installation of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro is applied to all cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent any debris or unwanted moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner liked the plan and decided to schedule his project.
About a month later, our Foreman, Sam K, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal to the customer's satisfaction. Now, our customer can enjoy her outdoor space without worries of trip hazards!
A Rochester, MN, business owner was growing concerned over his front walkway. It had been sinking over the years and was now beginning to form large cracks, resulting in large trip hazards. He didn't want anyone to take a tumble, so he began to look for local concrete repair companies. When he found our website, he signed up for our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nate B, headed out to the home.
After Nate concluded his inspection appointment, he met with the business owner to deliver his recommendations. He informed the owner that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel. He explained that PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, and in the process, slowly lifts the slabs back to their original place. Nate went on to say that he wanted to preserve the newly lifted concrete with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to all cracks and joints in the concrete and is specifically designed to stand up against harsh weather conditions, meaning the vulnerable soil underneath the concrete is protected. The business owner agreed with Nate's recommendations and scheduled the project for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, Sam, our Foreman, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now, our business owner can feel confident in his front walkway!

A homeowner in Rochester, MN was concerned that his sinking steps were settling on one side causing it to be uneven. Wanting to address the issue immediately rather than waiting, the homeowner decided to look into concrete lifting in the area and found our website. After browsing our website, the homeowner was extremely impressed with our before and after photos and decided to schedule her FREE estimate.
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Brad W., arrived at the home to answer any questions the homeowner had and to conduct a thorough inspection of the concrete. During his inspection, he explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of settling concrete slabs is soil washout. When it rains or floods, water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils. For this reason, Brad recommended our PolyLevel to lift the walkway and steps, and NexusPro, to seal the joints and repair the cracks that have formed. After reviewing Brad's proposal, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.
In about a month, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began by drilling small holes into the slab and installing the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected, expanding beneath the slab and filling in the gaps in the soil. Once the slab has been lifted, the crew ensures it is even before sealing the holes with cement. Lastly, the crew uses NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints along the walkway. After the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

A customer from Rochester, MN gave us a call when she began to notice the concrete walkway leading up to her front door was beginning to sink. She feared that if the issue was left unchecked, it could create a dangerous tripping hazard and cost more down the line to fix. When she contacted us we set her up with our FREE estimate, which entitles the customer to a FREE no-obligations estimate and thorough inspection of the issue. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Jarrett, headed out to the property to assess the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that she was experiencing sinkage because the soil underneath the slab of concrete was shrinking. He went on to say this could be caused by excess water washing the soil away, extreme heat drying it out, or that the soil was poorly compacted when the home was first built. He suggested that she let us fix the issue by using our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution. She agreed and work began shortly after.
Our PolyLevel crew, Troy and Cory, began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slab. Next, they inserted the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that expands as it hardens. Once the slab was lifted back to the original position, our customer was happy to know that her concrete wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon!
Jacquilynn L.'s concrete slab along the front of her house was sinking on one end. She had our Design Specialist, Mac, come out to her home and inspect the problem. Mac proposed our PolyLevel and NexusPro, both of which are two of the main concrete systems we provide for homeowners. Jacquilynn was confident in the products and their warranties, so they went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Troy, and his crew member injected 116 pounds of our PolyLevel and applied 26 feet of our NexusPro. Our PolyLevel is a special foam that fills the voids underneath the concrete and stabilizes the concrete surface. Our NexusPro is a sealant that prevents moisture from seeping underneath the cracks and it gives the concrete a neat appearance. The project was completed within three hours and Jacquilynn was satisfied with the work.
