A homeowner in Hudson, WI, noticed their sidewalk was collecting water near the home. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner began looking for a permanent solution. Overwhelmed by all their options, the homeowner looked on referral sites, like the Better Business Bureau and NextDoor. At the top of both lists was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner was impressed with our accolades, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was finalized, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Gary, to the home to perform the inspection. Gary arrived, introduced himself to the homeowner, and started the thorough inspection. Following his inspection, Gary determined the sidewalk was settling towards the home, leading to the water puddling towards the home. To stop the water from collecting near the home, Gary recommended lifting the sidewalk back to level. The homeowner agreed with Gary's suggestions, so he directed the plans to the office to be finalized. After the office approved, they were sent to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew to begin production. Patrick and his crew traveled to the home to start the project. Once they arrived, they began by lifting the sidewalk using PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. The crew successfully lifted the sidewalk back to its original level, so they shifted their focus to repairing the crack. First, the crew filled the crack using NexusPro Crack Repair, a silicone-based solution. Once the crack was filled, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew, so they left a lovely review. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customer's stubborn, sunken concrete.
A homeowner from Hudson, WI, was growing more frustrated with sinking concrete slabs in front of his home. More than being a nasty trip hazard, the sinking concrete was impacting his curb appeal. Wanting to fix the issue, he began the search for a company that could help him fix the issue. After seeing one of our print ads in a local newspaper, he decided to give us a call to set up his FREE estimate appointment. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Gary S, headed out to the property.
Once Gary finished his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that concrete sinking is fairly normal and can occur for various reasons. He went on to say that American Waterworks could address the sinking by using our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. Once the concrete has been lifted, our team will go in with our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that gets applied to all cracks and joints in the concrete The homeowner liked the sound of the plan, and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Domanik, and his team were able to complete the lift on time, successfully eliminating the trip hazards and restoring our customer's curb appeal!
