Cracked Concrete Walkway Gets Repaired in Farmington, MN

A Farmington, MN, homeowner was growing concerned about her front walkway. It had been sinking over the years but recently had formed numerous cracks on the surface, resulting in serious trip hazards. The homeowner wanted to ensure no one took a tumble, so she began her search for MN concrete repair. When she came across our website, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Romeo V, made a stop at her home.

Once Romeo finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to discuss recommendations. Romeo began by saying that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons but that we could fix the issue using our PolyLevel method. Romeo explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected below sinking concrete slabs and slowly lifts the slabs back into place. He went on to say that once the lift is complete, our team will install our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent moisture from getting below the concrete to the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner liked the sound of Romeo's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Dylon V, and his team were able to lift and seal the concrete without complications. Now, our customer is thrilled to know she no longer has to worry about trip hazards!

Sunken Concrete Driveway Raised in Saint Paul Park, MN

Jeff L. in Saint Paul Park, MN noticed that his concrete driveway had sunk a couple of inches after the change of the season. This had caused a trip hazard and a large bump when driving in and out of the garage. While researching concrete repair, he came across the American Waterworks website and was interested in our PolyLevel concrete solution. He contacted us for a FREE estimate, so we sent Kevin McWithey to his home to design a solution. Jeff was pleased to learn that our PolyLevel solution is more affordable, durable and efficient compared to traditional concrete repair, so he scheduled the installation.

Our PolyLevel experts, Trevor and Brevan drilled small holes into the concrete slabs and then injected the PolyLevel foam until it was raised and even with the garage floor. The process was minimally invasive and only took a couple hours to complete. Jeff is happy with the results and is glad he will be able to enjoy level concrete for years to come!

The homeowner visited our website and investigated our concrete lifting and leveling services. Impressed by our list of services, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Gary, one of our Design Specialists. After Gary arrived, he began inspecting the concrete to find the root of the issue. Gary discovered that the sidewalk and driveway were sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the concrete from sinking further, Gary recommended the sidewalk and driveway be lifted and leveled. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to follow Gary's recommendations and production began. Our Forman, Troy, and his crew traveled to the home to begin concrete lifting and leveling. When the crew arrived, they started by mapping out where the PolyLevel would be injected. Next, the crew inserted the PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk and driveway. Once the PolyLevel was fully inserted, the crew shifted their focus to inserting the NexusPro Joint Sealant in all the sidewalk joints. The crew successfully lifted and leveled the affected area, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew.
