Sinking Concrete Stairs Get Transformed in La Crosse, WI

A couple from La Crosse, WI, were growing tired of their sinking stoop leading up to their front door. Not only was the sinking slab an eyesore, but it was creating a nasty trip hazard. Not wanting the issue to get any worse, the couple decided to begin the search for a company that could restore the concrete. After seeing our print ad in a local shopper, they decided to call us and set up their FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ross, headed out to the home.

Once Ross finished his walkthrough, he met with the couple to give them his recommendation. Ross informed them that their sinking concrete could be remedied with our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution. Our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion, and slowly lifting the slab back into place. Ross went on to say that our lifting process is completed with the installation of NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints of the concrete, preventing any unwanted moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Dylon, headed out to the home. He was able to lift the front stairs back to their desired location. Now, our customers are thrilled to know that they no longer need to worry about trip hazards or diminishing curb appeal!

Sinking Concrete Patio is Transformed in La Crosse, WI

A La Crosse, WI, homeowner was hosting an outdoor BBQ when he noticed a large crack running across his backyard patio. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he decided to begin his search for a WI concrete repair company. After sorting through Google reviews and asking friends and neighbors, he decided to contact us and set up his FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to his home.

After our Design Specialist concluded his inspection, he met with the homeowner. He informed him that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel method. He explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete. It slowly fills voids left by soil erosion and lifts the sunken concrete back to its desired location. Our Design Specialist went on to say that, once the concrete had been lifted, he recommended the application of our NexusPro. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that gets applied directly to the joints and cracks in the concrete. This sealant works to prevent unwanted moisture from getting beneath or below the concrete to the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan, and scheduled the job to be installed a few weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman,  Jordan, and his team completed the lift and level without complications. Now, our customer can host outdoor parties all summer with the knowledge that her sunken concrete has been dealt with!

Uneven Concrete Driveway Restored in La Crosse, WI

Paul M. in La Crosse, WI realized that his concrete driveway had settled, making it an uneven surface. The concrete walkway leading up to his front porch had also become uneven. Paul wasn’t happy with how his driveway looked and he was concerned that it could become a trip hazard. He saw an advertisement for American Waterworks in his local newspaper and saw that we are concrete repair experts.

After learning more about our company, he gave us a call to receive a free estimate. We were happy to send one of our Design Specialists, Don Mancilman, to his home to provide him with a solution. After inspecting Paul’s concrete, Don assured him that we could raise and level his concrete within a matter of hours. Paul was pleased with the proposal that Don developed, so they set a date for the injection.

One of our PolyLevel experts, Brandon Wiskow, drilled penny-sized holes into the concrete slabs where the foam would be injected. Concrete Stairs Get a Lift in Oelwein, IA

Joe and Carolyn of Oelwein, IA, had begun to notice that the stairs and adjoining porch in front of their home were beginning to sink. The couple was worried that if the problem was left unresolved, the gap forming between the stairs and the home would only worsen, creating a bigger trip hazard and a bigger, and more expensive, problem to fix later down the road. They came across our services and decided to get in contact with us to see what could be done. When they called in, set them up with one of our FREE estimates, and our Design Specialist, Tim, was able to go out to the property and do a thorough inspection. Once he concluded, he was able to inform Joe and Carolyn that they were experiencing this issue because the soil beneath the slabs was sinking because of excess rain or heat, causing the soil to shrink. He recommended the couple fix the issue quickly to avoid any further issues down the line. He recommended they use our PolyLevel injection to raise the concrete back to its former state and follow up with our NexusPro to seal the joints connecting the slab and the home and to seal off any remaining holes or points of entry for water. Our Foreman, Jake, and his crew began the project by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slabs. Next, they injected the foam into the holes, paying close attention to the slab as it was lifted. Finally, they sealed off any remaining holes with the NexusPro.

When the job was complete, Joe and Carolyn were happy they no longer had to worry about trip hazards forming!
