This beautiful crawl space transformation comes to us from Webster, MN.  Originally lined with rock, it was time for a transformation to keep moisture out in the summer and heat in during the winter.  In just one day, American Waterworks was able to install our most trusted TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace high-performance moisture barrier and drainage matting system to align with the homeowner's waterproofing and energy efficiency goals.  

Denise H. in Saint Paul, MN was experiencing high humidity in her dirt crawl space and she noticed bugs were entering through that space because it was not encapsulated. Denise wanted to make her crawl space healthier and more energy-efficient, so she contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, went onsite to inspect her crawl space and develop a personalized solution. Denise was impressed with our products and Jeremy’s thorough plan, so she chose to move forward with the encapsulation.

Our production team removed the debris from her crawl space and leveled the dirt as best as they could. Then, they installed a SmartDrain and condensation pump. They laid our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the floor and FoamMax walls panels along to walls. Lastly, they sprayed the rim joists with our spray foam insulation and they installed a SaniDry dehumidifier. The combination of these waterproofing and encapsulation systems makes the crawl space a dry, energy-efficient, and healthier space. A Woodbury, MN, homeowner had noticed a foul odor wafting through her home. She had no idea where the smell was coming from but was growing tired of it. She had suspicions that the odor was coming from the crawl space beneath the home but wasn't sure what to look for. She decided to find a contractor specializing in crawl space repairs in Minnesota. A month or so later, the job was well underway. Led by our Foreman, Diego B, our team successfully installed 574 sqft of CleanSpace, 456 sqft of drainage matting, and 1 SmartDrain. A homeowner from St. Paul, MN got in touch with us when he noticed that his floor over his crawl space was beginning to slope inwards. Concerned that the issue might be tough to fix, the homeowner got in touch with us to see if we could help. We set him up with our FREE estimate and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Daniel, headed out to the home to see what could be done. 

After Daniel completed his inspection, he let the homeowner know that he was experiencing slopping floors because the beams that held up the ceiling of the crawl space had been compromised. Daniel went on to say that water intrusion had led the wooden beams to rot. He explained that he had a few options to restore the stability of the crawl space and ensure that water intrusion would be a thing of the past. Daniel laid out his plan and started by recommending our SmartJack Crawl Space Stabilizers to address the sloping.
