Foundation Repair in Grafton, ND

If your foundation walls are bowing or showing signs of inward movement, repair work is needed. These signs are showing that your walls are weakening and these problems can create serious damage. These walls move inward due to expansive soils and pressure on the walls from the outside.

Residents of Grafton, ND were seeing these exact problems in their foundation walls, making them worry about the value of their home. After doing their research, they called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen. Richie went to the resident's home, carefully inspected their foundation walls, and drew up a well-detailed proposal of our PowerBraces, which are made to repair and stabilize bowing walls over time. The residents were confident in our presentation and proposal, so they followed through with the project.

Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team installed our PowerBraces alongside the bowing foundation wall, enabling the wall to straighten back to its natural position. The homeowners were happy with the work that was performed and their peace of mind was restored!

Sinking Walkway Lifted with PolyLevel in Grafton, ND

A homeowner in Grafton, ND, noticed that her walkway was sinking and slightly tilting down on one side. She decided to search for concrete services in the area and found our website. After browsing our website, she was impressed with our before and after photos and decided to schedule her FREE no-obligation estimate.

In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Dylan J., arrived at the home to assess the walkway. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of a sinking walkway is soil washout. When it rains or floods, water moves through the ground beneath the concrete slab. As this happens, it washes away the soil supporting the concrete slab and, over time, leads to gaps in the soil. To fix this issue, Dylan recommended our PolyLevel, a high-density polyurethane formula designed to lift heavy loads, to lift the concrete slabs. The homeowner was grateful for his explanation and decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Charlie C., and his crew arrived at the home. They began by drilling small holes into the slabs and placing the injection ports. Once those were installed, they injected PolyLevel beneath the slab. The PolyLevel then expands, causing the slab to lift. Lastly, the crew ensures the slabs are level before sealing the holes with concrete. After the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Radon Mitigation System Secured in Grafton, ND

A homeowner in Grafton, ND, read an article discussing radon and its harmful effects on people. Radon is an odorless, tasteless, and invisible gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Worried about their home's levels, the homeowner began looking into "radon gas experts". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our stellar ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew that we were the ideal company for their project. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Derek. A few weeks later, Derek promptly arrived at the home and started his thorough inspection. Derek began by starting a radon test. While the radon test was being completed, Derek began searching for the best place to install the Radon Mitigation System. After the test was completed, it confirmed that the levels were alarmingly high. Derek recommended installing a Radon Mitigation System on the south side of the home. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Derek's proposal.  Next, Derek sent the proposal to our Logisitics team to give the final stamp of approval. Once the plans were approved, our Logisitics team assigned the project to our Radon Sales & Service Technician, Jackson. The following month, Jackson traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Jackson started by prepping the items for installation. Once the items were ready, Jackson installed the Radon Mitigation System outside the home. Once the Radon Mitigation System was secured, Jackson cleaned up his materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by Jackson, so they left a five-star review. American Waterworks is delighted to assist its homeowners in eliminating their radon issue.
