Our Foreman, Corey, and his production crew began the project by installing 144 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace is a waterproof vapor barrier that covers holes and divots, prevents mold and mildew, and directs water into the drainage system. Next, our team installed our DryTrak Baseboard Basement Drain Pipe. Our DryTrak is specifically made for floors that are poured as just one piece; the floor itself and the footing. For this system, no jackhammering is needed, it stays above the mud zone, and it collects water seepage from basement walls. Kim, from Crookston, MN began to notice a bow in the foundation walls of her home. The bowing of the wall resulted in the cracks that are caused within the foundation allowing water to seep through causing a wet basement.  Kim then contacted the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks expressing her major concern and claimed her FREE estimate entitling her to a full home inspection. Once set our Foreman, Cameron Phrakonekham, and his Crew began to strategically place PowerBraces around the basement, inserting a total of 6 PowerBraces to further stabilize the wall. The PowerBrace system is an I-shaped beam that stabilizes and helps straighten the bow of the wall over time. The PowerBrace system is drilled into the support beams of the home and the concrete, on which the home lies.

A homeowner in Crookston, MN, had grown concerned over the radon levels of their home after learning it was the second leading cause of lung cancer. In about a month, our Radon Sales and Service Technician, Jackson P., arrived at the home for the installation. He installed a PVP pipe into the sump pump system and connected it to the radon mitigation fan that is installed at the exterior of the home to expel the radon gas. After the successful installation, he cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
