A Claremont, MN, homeowner was doing some landscaping over a long weekend when he took a little tumble over a section of uneven concrete. The homeowner knew that many people frequented this concrete path, so he wanted to get it fixed right away, although he was unsure of who to turn to for his uneven concrete slab. One night he was watching a football game when he saw one of our commercials advertising lifting and leveling uneven concrete surfaces. He called the next day to set up his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Brad W, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home.
Brad got right to work inspecting the concrete. When he finished, he informed the homeowner that his issue could be resolved with our PolyLevel injection. Brad explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when its injected beneath uneven concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, in the process, lifting the concrete back to it's desired location. Brad went on to say that as a safeguard measure, he was recommending our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to all cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete and serves as a barrier against harsh weather conditions. The homeowner liked the sound of Brad's plan, and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Pat B, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now, our customer can enjoy a day tending to his home, without worries of uneven concrete!

Jayne S. in Joice, IA contacted American Waterworks after being referred to us by a current customer. She had some concrete slabs that had settled in front of her home. She was concerned that water was being guided toward her home, and she was interested in our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution to repair the concrete. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Kevin Beseman, to meet with Jayne and evaluate the situation. Jayne was happy to learn that our Poly Level option is a faster, more durable, and affordable alternative to mudjacking or total concrete replacement.
Our Foreman, Trevor Ellingson, and Co-Foreman, Brevyn Kirkpatrick, drilled pencil-sized holes into the concrete slabs that needed to be raised. Then, they injected the PolyLevel foam until the concrete was raised and leveled. Lastly, they filled the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. The process was non-invasive, and it only took a couple of hours. Jayne is glad she will be able to enjoy a level walkway for years to come!

Jeremy from Glenwood City, WI got in touch with us when he began to notice unwanted water entering his basement. He was afraid that if left untreated, the problem would worsen and cause serious damage. When he called in we set him up with our FREE estimate and shortly after our Design Specialist, Mac, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make his recommendations as to how we could help fix the issue. Mac wanted to use three of our products to rid the space of water. First, he wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to redirect water. Mac explained that this tarp-like material gets installed directly onto basement walls and works to direct the flow of water down to his second recommendation, our WaterGuard French drainage system. He went on to say that the WaterGuard is installed below the concrete flooring and works to direct water to the appropriate location. For that location, Mac recommended a SuperSump sump pump. He explained that this effective and economic solution is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for an extended period of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion, as it's capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Raul, and his team ended up installing 78 ft of our WaterGuard drainage system, 1 SuperSump sump pump, and another 78 ft of our CleanSpace. When the job was complete our customer was happy to know he no longer had to worry about water entering his basement.
