Thomas M. from New Richland, MN had water seeping into his basement that was coming up through his floor. He had tried temporary ways to seal the water off, but those quick fixes never lasted, and he continued to have a wet basement each time it rained. After researching professional waterproofing contractors, Thomas decided to call American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Mac Cole, went to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. Thomas was pleased with Mac’s plan to waterproof his basement, so they scheduled the installation.
Our production team installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement and a TripleSafe sump pump that was connected to the drainage system. The TripleSafe is our most reliable pump because it has three pumps and it is protected with a battery backup. The WaterGuard properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Thomas is thrilled that his basement has been a dry, healthier space since having our system installed.

A New Richland, MN, homeowner was facing an issue. Each time there was rain in his area, his basement would fall victim to water intrusion. He didn't want to deal with the problem anymore but wasn't sure how to go about fixing it. One day he found himself at a home show in Owatonna, MN, and as he was wandering through the rows of vendors, he met our Design Specialist, Brad W, at our booth. He and Brad got to talking about his leaky basement, and Brad said he would be more than happy to visit his home and complete one of our FREE estimate appointments into the issue. The homeowner was more than happy to have Brad out to his home, and scheduled the appointment for the following week.
On the day of the inspection, Brad headed out to the house and got right to work looking at the basement. Once he finished, he met with the homeowner. Brad recommended the installation of SuperSump sump pump. Brad explained that the SuperSump is an effective and economical solution to basement flooding. It is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump® includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner liked the sound of Brad's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Diego, and his team placed one SuperSump sump pump in the basement with no complications. Now, our customer can enjoy the rainfall, knowing his basement is protected!

Heather A. of Kiester, MN had water seeping from her floor joists, making her worry about her home conditions, especially during harsh weather conditions. She called our office and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared Bruns. Jared went to her home, carefully inspected her water problem, and came up with a solution that fit her needs and budget. She was confident with Jared's solution of our WaterGuard Drainage System, so she went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water seepage from basement walls. Homeowners appreciate how quickly this system is installed because it is done with minimal removal of the slab and all of the removed concrete is restored during the installation. So, just like that, Kiko and his team covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete.
