A Minneapolis, MN, homeowner was beginning the initial stages of selling her home. However, she knew she had one roadblock to overcome. She had several stair-step cracks running the length of her basement. She didn't want any foundation issues to compromise a potential sale, so she decided to search for a professional MN basement foundation repair company. When she found our website, she decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Derek V, headed out to the home.
Derek got right to work inspecting each wall. When he concluded his comprehensive inspection, he met with the homeowner to discuss his recommendations. Derek began by saying that the homeowner was right to contact us, as failing foundations are notorious for dragging down the resale value of a home. Derek recommended the use of our PowerBrace wall repair system. The PowerBrace™ is a patented foundation wall repair system that's designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. These steel I-beams will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustment. Over time, the PowerBrace™ System can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical. The homeowner was thrilled to hear that the solution wasn't going to be overly invasive and decided to schedule the project on the spot.
Several weeks later, our team, lead by their Foreman, Jesus C, headed out to the home to install the system. When they had finished, they had successfully installed 16 of our PowerBraces throughout the basement of the home. Now, our customer can confidently resell her home, knowing that her foundation worries are in the past!

A Minneapolis, MN, business owner was down in the basement of the property one evening after a heavy rain and was shocked to notice several small pools of water had entered the space. He was worried about what this could mean for his property, so he quickly began looking for a Minneapolis basement waterproofing company. When he found our website, he was impressed with other waterproofing projects we had completed. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Daniel R, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home.
Daniel got right to work assessing the basement. When he finished, he informed the homeowner that he was recommending two of our products, which he felt would benefit the space. First, Daniel recommended our CleanSpace vapor barrier. He explained that this 100% waterproof tarp-like material gets installed directly to the walls of the basement. It works to trap water entering through holes or cracks in the wall, directing it downward and into a perimeter, which, in this case, Daniel recommended to be our WaterGuard system. This unique French drain gets installed below the slab of the basement floor, atop the footing of the foundation, keeping it out of the 'mud zone' where similar drains tend to clog. This drain functions to collect water from the CleanSpace, as well as water coming up through holes or cracks in the floor, giving the water a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. Daniel did notice that the basement lacked a means of expelling water, so he recommended the installation of our TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe is the most reliable pump in our lineup, providing three levels of protection for your basement and peace of mind. The homeowner was thrilled with Daniel's comprehensive plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our team arrived bright and early to complete the installation. Led by their Foreman, Kiko, our team installed 144 ft of WaterGuard, 90ft of CleanSpace, and 1 TripleSafe sump pump in the basement. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing his property is properly protected!
Kyle W. of Minneapolis, MN had a radon level of 4.1 pCi/L. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, 4 pCi/L is the "action level", which means that it needs to be mitigated as soon as possible. Kyle found American Waterworks on HomeAdvisor, so he contacted our office staff and set up a day to get one of our Exterior Radon Mitigation Systems installed. Our Design Specialist, Michel, went to Kyle's home, inspected the exterior of his house, and designed a detailed plan for where to install the system as well as the cost. Kyle was confident in the quote and the design, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foremen, Dakota and Geno, installed the system from the inside utility room to the house exterior. The purpose of the mitigation system is to pull radon from underneath the home and expose it into the open air outside of the home. The installation only took a few hours and Kyle was very happy with the work that was completed.

A homeowner from Richfield, MN, had just learned of the dangers that radon gas can pose to a household. Not wanting the invisible threat to be circulating through her home, she began looking for a contractor offering radon mitigation MN. When she found our website, she was impressed with our images of radon gas mitigation system we had installed in her area and decided to sign up for her FREE estimate. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Kyle P, was scheduled to stop out at the home.
When Kyle arrived, he began his appointment by placing continuous radon monitoring tests in the basement of the home. This test aims to record radon levels over a period of time, delivering the average radon level in the home. Kyle explained that if the test came back with a score higher than 4 pCi/L, he would recommend the installation of a radon mitigation system. Kyle went on to say that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. When installed by an experienced radon specialist, a radon mitigation system will lower the concentration of radon gas in your interior air to minimal levels recommended by the EPA. The homeowner liked the sound of Kyle's plan and vowed to wait until the results returned to make a choice. When the results returned sometime later, the levels were way above the recommended 4 pCi/L, so the homeowner called Kyle to schedule a date for the system to be installed.
Eventually, the day of the project rolled around. Our Foreman, Geno M, was able to lead his team through the installation of the system. Now, our customer can breathe a bit easier knowing her family is inhaling only the cleanest air possible.
