Water-damaged Basement in Crystal, MN

A homeowner in Crystal, MN was alarmed to find some water damage to the walls and floor in her basement space. Not wanting the problems to get worse if left alone, she went online to find a solution by searching "wet basement repairs near me." There were a variety of websites that showed up in the results, but only one stood out: American Waterworks. Our FREE no-obligation estimate appointments were intriguing to her, so she signed up for her own to learn more about our products and services. We sent over one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, to the home where he inspected the basement and answered any questions the homeowner had. Dylan recommended fully waterproofing the basement with our quality products including the WaterGuard basement drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and AprilAire dehumidifier. The homeowner felt confident in Dylan's knowledge and suggestions, so she scheduled a time for the installations to happen. Later, one of our Foremen, Jesus Covarrubias, and his crew went to the site and carefully installed each product. Now the homeowner can feel secure with her basement space being waterproofed and won't have more damage done to the space.

A couple from Plymouth, MN, got in touch with us when they noticed that the lower level of their home was taking on water. They didn't want water damage to hinder any potential resale of the home, so they decided to find a contractor that could address the problem and eventually, they found our website. Impressed with other work we had done in their area, they decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nick S, headed out to the home. He explained that this sump pump is an effective and economical solution. It's engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. It boasts a powerful Zoeller® 1/3 horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. Sunken Concrete Gets Lifted in Minneapolis, MN

A Minneapolis, MN, homeowner had noticed that the concrete walkway leading to her front stoop had been sinking over the year. It was beginning to pull away from the stoop and had created a large trip hazard. The homeowner didn't want anyone to take an unnecessary tumble, so she began to look for concrete repair in Minnesota. When she found American Waterworks, she was impressed with our concrete before and after pictures and decided to sign up for her FREE estimate. Several weeks later, Adam V, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home to see what could be done.

After Adam finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to inform her that we could address the situation using our PolyLevel injection. Adam informed her that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it is injected beneath sinking concrete. As it expands, it slowly fills voids left by soil erosion and, in the process, lifts the concrete back to its desired location. Adam went on to say that once the lift had been completed, he would want to see the cracks and joints of the concrete sealed with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant works to prevent moisture from getting below the slab, potentially compromising the lift. The homeowner agreed with the proposed work and scheduled the job for several weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Troy W, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now, our customer can confidently walk out her front door knowing her uneven concrete has been fixed!
