Corey K. in Utica, MN was tired of dealing with the frustration of having a severely sunken driveway. Over time, the driveway had sunk over 4 inches and it caused a large bump while driving in and out of the garage. It was also a trip hazard.
While researching concrete repair contractors, he came across American Waterworks and was interested to learn more about our PolyLevel concrete repair solution. He gave us a call and we sent out a Design Specialist to give him a free estimate. Our Design Specialist thoroughly explained the process of the PolyLevel injection and how it would raise his concrete to be completely level with the garage.
Corey was pleased to hear this, and he was also happy that the PolyLevel option is a quicker and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair.
One of our PolyLevel experts, Brandon Wiskow, drilled penny-sized holes in numerous spots of the concrete slabs that needed to be raised. He then injected the foam until the driveway was once again level with the garage. Lastly, he sealed the cracks with our Nexus Pro sealant. The entire process only took a few hours and it was minimally invasive. Corey is glad he chose the PolyLevel option through American Waterworks to address his concrete repair needs. He can now enjoy level concrete for years to come!

Dana and Carol S. of Lime Springs, IA were experiencing water leaking into their basement as well as cracking in their foundation walls. One of their contractors recommended American Waterworks to complete the job. They called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our sales manager, Eric Fox. Eric went to their home, inspected the problem, and came up with a solution. Dana and Carol were comfortable with Eric's proposal, so they went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor with a jackhammer and formed a trench. In the trench, our team installed 142 feet of our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team applied our CleanSpace Wall System around the wall perimeter, which prevents mold and humidity growth, and it acts as an extra wall protectant. It also gives basements a neat and clean appearance. Then, Hugo and his crew installed 21 of our PowerBraces on the CleanSpace. Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing basement walls and straighten them out over time. Lastly, our team applied spray foam around the ceiling perimeter to provide extra insulation and to keep heat inside the basement. To complete the project, our crew covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Dana and Carol had a remarkable experience from appointment to installation, and their peace of mind has been restored!
