A homeowner in Viroqua, WI, noticed various wet spots throughout their basement. Knowing they needed professional assistance, the homeowners began searching for the best waterproofing company near them. One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner read previous job stories and was convinced we were the best company to work with. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Dustin, to check out the basement. Dustin arrived and introduced himself to the homeowner. The homeowner directed Dustin to the problem area in the basement. After completing his walkthrough of the basement, Dustin was able to provide the homeowner with a recommended solution. Dustin suggested installing CleanSpace and an Aprilaire in the muggy basement. The homeowner agreed with Dustin's recommendations and the plans were sent to our Logistics team for approval. Once they earned the stamp of approval, the plans were directed to our Foreman, Francisco, and his crew. Francisco and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, they began by installing CleanSpace on all the basement walls. After the CleanSpace was secured, they shifted their focus to installing an Aprilaire in the home. Once the Aprilaire was secured into place, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was pleased with the wonderful work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is glad to dehumidify another home.
For a few months, a Viroqua, MN, homeowner had noticed a strange odor wafting through his home. Try as he might, he could not locate the source of the odor. One night it occurred to the homeowner that the odor might be coming from the crawl space beneath his home. Worried that it might be a deceased pest, he quickly began looking into crawl space repairs near Viroqua, WI. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate. Several weeks later, Ross J, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home. When Ross arrived, he wasted no time getting down into the crawl space to see what the issue was. When he was finished, he met with the homeowner and informed him that there were no dead pests he needed to worry about. Rather, a different kind of nightmare, his crawl space was taking on unwanted water, leading to the formation of mildew and an unpleasant odor. Ross went on to say that he believed we could fix the issue and the leaky crawl space with the help of several of our products. Ross began by recommending our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly onto unfinished walls. It works to catch water entering through small holes and cracks in the wall, directing it downward and into our drainage matting, dimpled matting that provides a channel for water to flow to a disposal site, keeping it off the floor and properly draining the crawl space of water. Finally, Ross recommended our SmartDrain, a useful device that alerts homeowners to a leak with an audible alarm, and drains the water away to a drywell under the CleanSpace liner to protect against property damange. The homeowner was thrilled with Ross's plan and scheduled the job on the spot.
When the project day rolled around, our Foreman, Raul B, and his team successfully installed 475 sqft of CleanSpace and 352 sqft of Drainage Matting. When the job was completed, our customer was thrilled to know he could put his damp crawl space worries behind him!

A homeowner in Westby, WI, knew it was time to schedule their annual maintenance appointment. The homeowner called our Service department and signed up for their annual maintenance appointment. Once the annual maintenance appointment arrived, our Service Technician, Glenn, traveled to the home to check out the homeowner's products. Glenn promptly arrived at the home and started his thorough inspection of all the products. After ensuring all the previously installed products were running efficiently, Glenn took a closer look at the exterior and interior foundations. Glenn discovered large cracks in the foundation near the front steps. Once he saw the cracks, he knew the foundation needed to be permanently repaired. Glenn wrapped up the appointment and shared his findings with the homeowner. After hearing Glenn's recommendations, the homeowner knew this was the right plan of action. Next, Glenn sent the proposal to our Logistics team to build and finalize the project. After all the project details were finalized, the proposal was passed along to our Foreman, Juan, to begin the installation. A month later, Juan and his team traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Juan and his team started by installing three GeoLock Wall Anchors on the struggling walls. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. The homeowner was relieved to know their foundation was properly secured. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind knowing their foundation was secure from future damage.
David S. in Harpers Ferry, IA was unhappy with his cracked and uneven patio. He wanted it completely level and to have the cracks sealed. After researching concrete repair contractors and receiving estimates, he was pleased to learn that our PolyLevel foam injection is an effective, quick and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair, and he moved forward with the project.
Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes in the concrete slabs and then injected the polymer foam to raise the slabs to be even with the garage floor. Once the concrete was raised, the crew replaced the concrete in the holes and sealed the concrete slabs with our SealantPro which protects the concrete and gives it a nice, finished look. The process took a couple of hours and now David can enjoy a beautiful patio for years to come!
