Concrete Lifting and Concrete Repair in Westby, WI

Carl H. of Westby, WI had sunken and cracked concrete causing him to worry about the appearance of his home. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist went to Carl's house, carefully inspected their problems, and determined the solution of our NexusPro and PolyLevel. Carl was confident in our products and their features, so he moved forward with the project and got an installation date scheduled.

Our Foreman and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to raise the slab and applied our NexusPro over the cracks to prevent moisture from seeping underneath. Both of these concrete products are two of the most common concrete products that we provide for homeowners.

Sunken Patio Repaired in Harpers Ferry, IA

David S. in Harpers Ferry, IA was unhappy with his cracked and uneven patio. He wanted it completely level and to have the cracks sealed. After researching concrete repair contractors and receiving estimates, he was pleased to learn that our PolyLevel foam injection is an effective, quick and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair, and he moved forward with the project.

Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes in the concrete slabs and then injected the polymer foam to raise the slabs to be even with the garage floor. Once the concrete was raised, the crew replaced the concrete in the holes and sealed the concrete slabs with our SealantPro which protects the concrete and gives it a nice, finished look. The process took a couple of hours and now David can enjoy a beautiful patio for years to come!

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Ferryville, WI

Charlene T. in Ferryville, WI came across our booth at the Midwest Farm Show in La Crosse, WI. She was concerned about the moisture in her dirt-floor crawl space. She felt like she was losing energy from that space, so she spoke with our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, who was at the show and learned about our crawl space encapsulation services. Dylan set up an appointment with Charlene and went to her home to evaluate the situation and design the best solution.

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team installed a full perimeter of rim joist insulation which seals the rim joists and lowers Charlene’s energy costs. They also installed our crawl space vapor barrier which protects the space from moisture and potential mold growth. The combination of these encapsulation products turned the crawl space into a dry, clean and energy efficient part of the house. The process took a couple of days to complete, but Charlene now has a bright, clean and healthy crawl space and is saving money on her energy bill each month.

Crawl Space Transformed in Ferryville, WI

A new homeowner from Ferryville, WI, was making some updates to his new property. The home had a crawl space below, and the new owner knew that if his crawl space wasn't properly encapsulated, it would not only make the home energy inefficient but could take on unwanted water and even critters.  He took to the internet to search for the 'best crawl space repair near me', and found our website. He looked through similar crawl space projects we had done in his area and was impressed with what he saw, so he signed up for his FREE estimate. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist made a stop at his home.

Our Design Specialist got right to work evaluating the crawl space. When he finished, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. First, our Design Specialist recommended our CleanSpace for crawl space. Our CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof vapor barrier that gets applied directly to the unfinished walls of the crawl space. It works to trap any water entering through holes or cracks in the wall, directing it downward. To pair with the CleanSpace, our Design Specialist recommended our drainage matting. This matting gets installed below the CleanSpace on the crawl space floor. The dimpled matting allows any water collected by the CleanSpace a channel to flow to a disposal site such as a sump pump or discharge line. Finally, our Design Specialist informed the homeowner that even a basement with an effective waterproofing system can still develop moisture and mold problems and may feel damp. Concrete walls and floors continually absorb moisture from the soil and release it into the air in your basement, and store-bought dehumidifiers simply aren't strong enough to solve the problem. For this reason, he wanted to use our AprilAire dehumidifierAdding an Aprilaire dehumidifier creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% RH. The homeowner agreed to the proposed work and scheduled the job for some time later.

The day of the installation rolled around, and our team, led by their Foreman, Raul B, headed out to the home. When they had finished, they successfully installed 768 sqft of CleanSpace, 660 sqft of drainage matting, and 1 AprilAire dehumidifier. Now, our customer can enjoy his new property knowing that his home is functioning efficiently!

Sump Pump Waterproofing in Elkader, IA

Homeowners in Elkader, IA wanted to get a sump pump installed in their garage because they were worried about groundwater leaking through the floor. They requested a FREE Estimate with our office staff for one of our Design Specialists to come out to their home and take a look. We proposed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners. They were confident in our proposal, product, and warranty, so they followed through with the project.

Our Foreman and his team cut out the concrete floor with a jackhammer, forming a hole for the sump basket, followed by the pumps. Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System comes with three levels of water protection and solves all three problems in one system. To complete the work, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it, ensuring the space was neat and clean.
