A homeowner from Tomah, WI, had been worried about the foundation of her home for some time now. Over the years, several large cracks had become visible on one of the walls, leading the customer to fear that there could be something wrong with the home's structural integrity. The homeowner decided to find a foundation repair company in her area. She had knowledge of our services and often saw our logo'd cars around town, so she called us up and set up her FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Chuck H, was headed out to the home. When Chuck arrived, he wasted no time entering the basement to see the cracks for himself. Once he concluded his estimate, he met with the homeowner, explaining that the bowing could be from various factors. However, he had the solution. He wanted to use our CarbonArmor reinforcement system to address the bowing wall. He explained that CarbonArmor can help reinforce your bowing walls and repair cracks. They are made from fiber-reinforced polymer that's 10x stronger than steel and is specifically designed to reinforce and stabilize basement walls. While this system will not restore the wall to its original plumb state, it will halt further movement and cracks, and because the straps don't protrude on the wall like other solutions, the repair can easily be covered with mortar, paint, or light wall panels. The homeowner was thrilled with Chuck's recommendation and signed up for her job on the spot.
Several weeks later, our Foreman, Diego B, and his team installed 7 of our Carbon Armor straps around the basement. Now, our customer can breathe a bit easier knowing her foundation deterioration has been halted!
A homeowner in Tomah, WI noticed small cracks forming along her foundation wall. It wasn't until she noticed the wall bowing and tilting inward where she quickly took action. She had heard about our services through friends and immediately knew that we would do the job correctly and in a timely manner. She took advantage of our FREE estimate and scheduled a time for one of our experts to inspect the issue.
Our Design Specialist, Will R traveled to the home and explained to the homeowner that the issue could be fixed with our PowerBrace, a wall repair system that's designed to keep bowing walls at bay. Will explained that the PowerBrace is installed by cutting the braces to the appropriate height of your wall. It is then placed on the failing wall and secured to the floor and top of the wall. After it is attached it is then tightened to straighten that wall. The homeowner agreed and Will's plans were quickly sent to our Foreman, Diego B, and his crew. On the day of the installation Diego B and his crew installed 5 PowerBrace's satisfying our customer. Now, our customer no longer has to worry about her failing wall.

Cy S. in Viroqua, WI contacted American Waterworks because he had water in his basement and his new addition. He met with one of our Design Specialists, who proposed that the best solution was to install a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump.
Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed a section of the concrete floor around the perimeter and created a drainage trench. The WaterGuard is then placed within the trench and filled back with rock to fill the gaps. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to protect the room from moisture and potential mold growth. The encapsulation system will now guide water leaking in through the foundation walls and redirect it to their WaterGuard perimeter floor drainage system and ultimately drain into the SuperSump sump pump. Cy is pleased that his basement is now a dry, healthier space and he is glad he chose to invest in the long-term protection of his home.
