A homeowner in Hixton, MN, was distressed after discovering water sitting on their basement floor. Wanting someone to visit their home immediately, the homeowner frantically looked for a solution. Once Mac arrived, he began his investigation to find the source of the issue. When Mac completed the inspection, he determined that the entire basement needed to be waterproofed, and the foundation needed to be stabilized. Once a crew was assigned, they traveled to the home to start production. After they arrived, they began by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew shifted their focus to digging a feedline to connect to the newly installed TripleSafe sump pump. First, Juan and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Next, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. Once the SuperSump+ was secured, the crew dug a feedline to connect the WaterGuard to the new sump. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Our Foreman, Austin Lucas, and his production crew were able to permanently waterproof Tammy’s basement by installing 209 feet of our WaterGuard IOS System. The wide-open design of the drain helps it resist clogs, while a removable lid allows for easy access and maintenance. Then, the crew installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard properly drains water to the sump pump and from there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home.
