A homeowner in Decorah, IA, noticed their sump pump was not working as efficiently. Knowing they needed an expert, the homeowner began looking at companies that could service their sump pump. During their search, the homeowner came across our impressive sump pump line-up. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. The homeowner prepared for the arrival of Brian, one of our Design Specialists. After Brian arrived, the homeowner showed him to the sump pump and he began his evaluation. Brian confirmed that the sump pump needed to be replaced, and he recommended the best sump pump we offer, the TripleSafe. The homeowner wanted a sump pump that would last, so they agreed with Brian's recommendations. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. Once they arrived, Kiko and his crew took out the old sump pump. After the sump pump was removed, the crew replaced it with the TripleSafe sump pump. In addition to a new sump pump, the crew installed an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. The crew completed the installation and put the basement back together. The homeowner was happy to know they have the best sump pump in their home. American Waterworks is happy to provide customers with the best sump pumps.
Tom O. in Taylor, WI was suffering from a wet basement. Water was seeping through the block foundation and pooling on the floor. He did his research and contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists met with Tom, evaluated the situation, and proposed a solution to fit his needs. Tom approved of the plan and scheduled the project.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor, laid the WaterGuard drainage system, installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, and then filled back the gaps with rock. The discharge line was installed in the yard and they replaced the concrete in the basement. The process only took one day to complete, and Tom is glad he made the investment to protect his basement.
Julie and Brian B. of Taylor, WI had water leaking into their basement, making them worry about water damage, flooding hazards, and other problems. They knew of an employee at American Waterworks, so they set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Tim Schneider. Tim went to their home, carefully inspected their basement, and came up with a solution that worked for them and their home repair needs. They were confident in Tim's drawn out design and his proposal, so they signed the contract and followed through with the project.
Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed 146 feet of our WaterGuard System, which is made to collect water seepage from basement walls, prevent water clogs, and serve as an underground drain in connection to the sump pump. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace System is made to prevent mold and humidity, keep water from invading the basement, and direct leaking water into the WaterGuard. To complete the installation, Kiko and his crew covered all the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it, leaving the basement looking much neater than when they found it. Julie and Brian were grateful we were able to help them and were amazed by the transformation!

Our Foreman and his production team began the installation by jackhammering out the concrete of the basement floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench. Our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain in the trench, which is made to collect water leakage from basement walls, prevent water and mud clogs, and it has easily accessible service ports for annual maintenances. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, act as an extra wall protectant, and give the basement a neat and bright finish. To finish the project, our team filled the open-floor gaps with rock and pea gravel and applied a new layer of concrete over them to ensure the space was neat and tidy. Jamie was satisfied with the work that was done and was beautified by the transformation!
