William and Joan M. of Trempealeau, WI had water leaking into their basement through their walls, causing them to worry about water moisture and damp mold growth. They had American Waterworks do work for them before, so it wasn't a tough decision for them regarding what contractor to go with. Our Sales Manager, Mike Radosevich, went to their home to inspect their basement and come up with a solution. William and Joan were both confident in Mike's proposal and got all of their questions answered, so they moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which collects water seepage from basement walls, prevents water clogs, and serves as an underground drainage system. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold growth and serve as an extra wall protectant. To complete the project, Raul and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. William and Joan had a remarkable experience from start to finish!
