Tammy F. in Bricelyn, MN had an old sump pump in her basement that was failing and not able to keep up with typical rainfall. It was starting to cause damage to her property, so she decided it was time to have a professional look at it. She contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists to provide a solution. Tammy approved of the plan and moved forward with an installation date.
Our production crew got to work and installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard drains water to the newly installed SuperSump sump pump, and it is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Tammy now has peace of mind knwoing that water in her basement is no longer a concern.

A homeowner from Easton, MN, got in contact with us when she noticed that her walls were leaking after a heavy rainstorm. The homeowner was afraid that the leaky walls were a symptom of a bigger problem. After seeing our waterproofing ads on TV, she decided to give us a call to see if we could help. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ryan M, headed out to the home to see how serious the issue was.
Upon completion of the inspection, Ryan reassured the homeowner that while the issue was serious, American Waterworks had the solutions and techniques to ensure that no more unwanted water would find it's way into her space. He explained that leaky walls can be combated with two of our products, WaterGuard and CleanSpace. Ryan elaborated, explaining that the CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly to the basement walls. Its purpose is to direct any water entering through the walls down, along the barrier, and into the WaterGuard, a below-floor drain that works to collect water entering from the ground or the walls, directing it to the proper disposal site and keeping it off the floor. The homeowner agreed and the work was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jose, and his team ended up installing 96 ft of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and another 96 ft of CleanSpace. Now that the job is complete, our customer is happy to know she no longer needs to worry about her basemen in times of heavy rain!

Marcus C. of Bismarck, ND had water coming into his basement through his wood foundation. He heard about American Waterworks, so he got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian. Ian went to Marcus's home, carefully inspected his problems, and proposed a solution that would repair his basement problems. He was confident in Ian's plan of our half wall demolition, Foamax Half Wall Panels, and our WaterGuard Below-Drain System, so he signed the contract and got a date scheduled for the installation.
Our Foreman, Ryan, and his production crew began the process by performing a half wall demolition around the wall perimeter and installing our Foamax Half Wall Panels. Our Foamax is an advanced foam insulation that prevents condensation and provides protection from moisture. Next, our team broke out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGaurd Below-Floor Drain. Our WaterGuard is an interior drainage system that prevents water and mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. To complete the project, Ryan and his team filled the open-floor gaps with small rocks and applied new concrete over them. Marcus was thrilled with the work and had a remarkable experience with our team!

He went on the American Waterworks website and contacted our staff through our webchat. We set him up with a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to his home to inspect the leaks and come up with a solution. Charlie got all of his questions answered and was confident in Chad's proposal, so he moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production crew started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. To complete the WaterGuard project, Brian and his team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Are you having water problems in your basement?
