Reeny and Maureen of Eden Valley, MN had water leaking through the floor of their unfinished basement and they wanted to get it fixed before it became a bigger problem. They did some research on Google and came across American Waterworks and our basement waterproofing repairs. They called our office line to set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas. Dylan went to their home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. Reeny and Maureen were confident with the proposal, so they went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed 64 feet of our WaterGuard Drainage System. Our WaterGuard is one of the most efficient waterproofing repair products. It acts as an underground drain, collects water from basement walls and prevents water clogs. To complete the project, Edgar and his team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Reeny and Maureen were happy with the work and no longer have to worry about water leaking into their basement!
Karen E. of Pemberton, MN had water leaking through the windows of her basement and needed them replaced with more protection. After doing some research on the American Waterworks website, she called and got her FREE Estimate scheduled. Our Design Specialist, Jeremy Girgen, went to her home to inspect the windows and come up with a solution. Karen was confident with the proposal, so she scheduled the installation.
Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production crew broke out the concrete around the existing windows and installed our EverLast Basement Windows, which provide much more protection and energy efficiency. Hugo and his crew applied new concrete around the windows to complete the project. Karen was very happy, and the project was done within a day!

Lisa and Gary B. were getting water in their basement every spring. They got sick and tired of the maintenance, so they contacted our team to schedule a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Ian, went to their home, inspected their entire basement, and drew out a solution. Lisa and Gary were confident in Ian's plan, so they signed his contract, wrote out a deposit check, and set up a date for the installation.
Our Foreman, Corey, and his production crew began the project by installing 144 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace is a waterproof vapor barrier that covers holes and divots, prevents mold and mildew, and directs water into the drainage system. Next, our team installed our DryTrak Baseboard Basement Drain Pipe. Our DryTrak is specifically made for floors that are poured as just one piece; the floor itself and the footing. For this system, no jackhammering is needed, it stays above the mud zone, and it collects water seepage from basement walls. Lisa and Gary were happy with the work that was done and could not believe the beautifying transformation!
Our professionals sell and install more systems besides basement waterproofing. We also perform work in foundation repair, crawl space repair/encapsulation, radon testing/mitigation, and concrete lifting/repair. Call us today to schedule your FREE estimate!
Ron, from Eagle Bend, MN, was looking for some solutions for his late father's cabin space. The basement was experiencing water intrusion, and so he and his brother decided to call American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property.
Following a thorough inspection, Kole gave his recommendations to Ron, suggesting that they invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing as it is installed below the floor, but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog.
Ron agreed, and our crew got to work.
First, Ou Foreman, Arturo, and his crew began implementing our WaterGuard System, which is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. The team then covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
The drainage system now properly guides water to the Super Sump Plus pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home.
Finally, the team proceeded to install the CleanSpace wall System around the perimeter of the basement. Our CleanSpace Wall System is attached to the walls with plastic fasteners so it never falls.
After all was said and done, Ron was very glad he and his brother made the decision to call American Waterworks and had their peace of mind restored.
Following a heavy rainstorm, the homeowner went to their basement and discovered their carpet was wet. Worried this could cause lasting damage, the homeowners knew they needed to find a solution and fast. After comparing several companies, the homeowner's attention was caught by one, American Waterworks. The homeowner took a closer look at our waterproofing services and was impressed with our excellent ratings. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Brady, one of our Design Specialists. Once Brady arrived at the home, he began his detailed walk-through of the home. Brady discovered that the sump pump was not working properly, leading to the saturation of the floor. After Brady wrapped up the estimate, he was able to provide the homeowner with a solution. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to go ahead with Brady's recommendations. Once he received the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our Logistics team to build the project. Next, the built project was sent to our Foreman, Jeremiah, and his crew to begin the project. First, Jeremiah and his crew began by installing WaterGuard along the struggling wall. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took the old sump pump out and replaced it with the TripleSafe. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowner with a properly working sump pump.
