A customer from Minnetonka, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his basement wasn't retaining heat the way he would have liked. He was afraid that, if left untreated, he would continue to face higher-than-average energy bills due to his inefficient space. When he called in to see if we could help, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection by one of our System Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, one of our Design Specialists, Ryan P, headed out to Joe's house to assess the situation. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was ready to make his recommendations. Ryan wanted to use our Basement to Beautiful insulated wall panels. Ryan explained that these panels are the superior choice for a dry, energy-efficient basement. He went on to say that these panels are unique as they are designed with advanced SilverGlo graphite-infused insulation that provides 24% more energy savings than conventional foam products. Homeowners James and Rachel D. of Mankato, MN had water leaking through the cracks of their foundation walls, causing them to worry about water damage and the stability of their home. They got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared. Our Foreman, Juan, and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which serves as an underground drain and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, Juan and his crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the entire wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity and serves as an extra wall protectant while saving money on energy bills. Lastly, our team dug holes outside of the home beyond the foundation and inserted a long, metal rod from the inside foundation to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of the rod in the soil, our team installed an anchor plate, which holds the rod in place in the soil. Inside the basement, our team installed a GeoLock Channel Anchor on each rod to stabilize the wall. The combination of our production crew, the anchor plates, rods, and wall anchors work together to straighten the wall back into its original position. To complete the installation, our crew filled the open floor gaps with pea gravel and river rock and applied new concrete over them.

A Mankato, MN, homeowner was growing frustrated over his back utility room. Each time the area got rain, the homeowner was faced with pooling water near the baseboard of the room.
