One of the first companies listed was us, the highly-rated American Waterworks. Impressed by our ratings, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Richie. As soon as he arrived, Richie began inspecting the driveway. Richie determined that the concrete was sinking, leading to unevenness and cracks throughout the concrete. Since he knew the cause of the issues, Richie recommended that the homeowners lift and level the concrete. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and the project preparations were sent to the crew. Our crew arrived at the home and began by inserting the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the driveway and sidewalk. After the PolyLevel installation was complete, the crew shifted their focus to filling the various cracks throughout the driveway and replacing the old joints. The crew utilized the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks made to provide long-lasting flexibility.  Once the cracks and joints were filled, the crew could clean up their site and move on to the next project. The homeowners were grateful for the excellent job completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist another customer.

Cracked Driveway Gets Restored in Barnesville, MN

A homeowner from Barnesville, MN, was dealing with a deteriorating driveway. His driveway had been sinking over the years and had begun cracking as a result. The homeowner no longer wanted to deal with the eyesore and decided to look into what options might be out there. One day, he found himself at the Red River Valley Home + Garden Show in Fargo, ND. While perusing the booths, he ended up at the American Waterworks booth and spoke to our Design Specialist, Kole, about his concrete issue. He and Kole set up a time for Kole to come out to his home to see the concrete.

Once the day arrived, Kole got right to work completing his inspection. When he finished, he explained to the homeowner that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons but that we could help fix the issue with the help of our PolyLevel method. He explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left over by soil erosion and slowly lifts sunken concrete back to it's desired location. Kole went on to say that our team recommends the application of NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to the cracks and joints of the newly lifted concrete and works to protect the vulnerable soil below by preventing water from getting between the slabs. The homeowner liked the sound of Kole's plan and scheduled the job for the Spring.

When the snow melted and warm weather returned, our Foreman, CJ, and his team were able to complete the lift and level with no issues. Now our homeowner can look at his driveway fondly, knowing the cracks have been sealed.
