Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Darin. After Darin arrived, he began inspecting the foundation inside and outside the home. Darin discovered that the foundation was lacking and required stabilization. Darin recommended that GeoLocks be installed outside the entire perimeter of the home. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and production commenced. Our Foreman, Crescencio, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the GeoLock installation. The crew installed 20 GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the foundation. GeoLocks anchors are stabilized walls by being attached to the outside soil. A homeowner from Austin, MN, was in the middle of a remodel when he yanked out a section of drywall and uncovered his basement wall was cracking in several locations. In order to fully stabilize the damaged foundation wall, our production crew installed 4 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the basement wall. The anchor rods were drilled deep into the soil outside of the home and wall plates installed on each end of the rod to secure the anchor. Then, they tightened the anchor to start the process of straightening the wall. Angel is happy she chose to permanently stabilize her home!

Doug and DeLaine A. of Kasson, MN had bowing walls in their basement and didn’t want it to get worse. They did some research and called American Waterworks to set up a Free Estimate. We sent out our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, to talk to them about our foundation repair products and to come up with a solution. Our foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew began the install by digging three small holes outside and in the back of the home. In each hole, they installed a long, metal rod from the soil through the bowing wall. On each end of the rod, they mounted and twisted on our GeoLock Wall Anchors, which is a unique wall anchor system that indestructibly evens out your foundation wall. After installation and over time, the anchors can be tightened to further strengthen the walls and pull them back to a regular position. To complete the installation, our crew replaced the soil and made sure the yard was neat and clean.
