American Waterworks had the pleasure of meeting this homeowner at Farm Fest in Redwood Falls, MN.  The client experienced a wall that was bowing into their basement.  American Waterworks provided a wall anchoring system to stabilize the wall and with time, straighten it.

Richard K. in Redwood Falls, MN had a cracked and bowing foundation and water seeping into his basement. He started to do some research online and was happy to learn that American Waterworks has been the leading waterproofing and foundation repair contractor in the region for 30 years! We sent one of our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton, to meet with Richard, evaluate the situation, and propose a unique solution that fit his needs. Richard approved of the plan and moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production crew were able to permanently stabilize the damaged walls by installing 6 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the foundation, which immediately halted the deterioration and began to straighten the walls. Next, the crew installed a full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system and our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. These products work together to ensure Richard’s basement is solid and dry! Richard was pleased with the process and glad he made the investment to protect his home.

Ray L. in Worthington, MN was concerned about two large cracks from the top of the foundation to the bottom on one wall in his home. Our Foreman and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water and mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity and acts as an extra wall protectant. Lastly, our Foreman and his crew installed our PowerBraces around the wall perimeter on top of the CleanSpace. Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing basement walls, providing the potential to straighten them over time. To complete the installation, our production team filled the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. John was ecstatic with the repairs and had a great experience with our team from start to finish!
