A homeowner in Stillwater, MN, was growing frustrated with his concrete driveway. It had begun sinking, separating from the garage floor. This resulted in the homeowner having to step on the gas when entering the garage and then slamming on the brakes to not hit items within the garage. He began his research and came across our website. He decided to sign up for our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to the home. Once our Design Specialist completed his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that his issues could be fixed by using our PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected below concrete slabs, slowly filling voids caused by soil erosion, and lifting the slab back to it's desired location. He finished by saying that our installation is completed with our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that gets applied to the cracks and joints of the concrete to prevent unwanted elements from getting beneath the slab. The homeowner agreed and work began a few weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Sam, made quick work of the installation. Now our homeowner can use their driveway without hassle!

A homeowner from Stillwater, MN, was looking to upgrade her sump pump before spring. She had been aware that her sump pump hadn't been functioning properly for some time but was now nervous that if the system wasn't replaced by the spring, the basement would fall victim to water intrusion from melting snow. She began her search for a sump pump repair company in Minnesota, and quickly found American Waterworks and set up her FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Eric H, was headed out to the home. After Eric finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner. Eric recommended the homeowner switch out the old pump with our SuperSump sump pump, an effective yet more economical solution for water in your basement. It's engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even during times of heavy water intrusion. The homeowner was thrilled with the solution, and the system was scheduled to be installed a month or so later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Raul B, and his team successfully placed the system with no complications. Now our customer can head into every season of life knowing her basement is properly defended!

David Z. in Osceola, WI was frustrated with his sunken driveway. It was a trip hazard and it caused a large bump when driving in and out of the garage. David wanted to find a quick and affordable way to repair his concrete, so he started researching concrete repair contractors. He found American Waterworks’ website and was interested to learn more about our PolyLevel concrete repair solution. He called us for a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Kevin McWithey, to his home to provide him with a solution. Kevin explained the process of our PolyLevel injection and that we would be able to raise and level his concrete within a matter of hours. David was pleased to hear this, so they set a date for the installation.
One of our PolyLevel experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where it needed to be raised. Then, he injected the foam until the concrete was once again level with the garage and the siding of the home. Lastly, he sealed the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. The process was non-invasive and only took a couple of hours. David is now able to enjoy level concrete for years to come!

Janet S. in Osceola, WI contacted American Waterworks because she was concerned about the water that was leaking into the corner of her basement, and she had a bowing foundation wall. She was tired of cleaning up after heavy rains, and she was concerned about the stability of her home. We sent one of our Design Specialists to meet with Janet, evaluate the situation, and propose a unique solution. Janet was impressed with the plan and moved forward with an installation date.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew were able to stabilize the foundation wall by installing 7 Geo-Lock anchors along the wall. The wall anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the foundation wall and pull it back to its original position. Next, the crew waterproofed the basement by first removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump and SaniDry dehumidifier. The crew finished the job with installing our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to give the space a bright, clean look. Janet was pleased with the results, and glad she can now enjoy a dry basement!
Anne in Lake Elmo, MN had water seeping through her basement walls. She contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our experts to her home to inspect her basement and design a solution. She was pleased with our proposal, so she set a date to have our waterproofing system installed.
Our production team installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system in her basement and connected it to a SuperSump sump pump. The drainage system now properly guides any water seeping in to the sump pump. From there, the pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Anne now has a dry basement and she is glad she invested in protecting her basement from water for the long term.
