Jon V. of Tomah, WI had a cracked exterior foundation wall, causing him to worry about the structural support of his home. He saw an American Waterworks commercial on television, so he called our office line and scheduled a free inspection with our Design Specialist, Mac. Mac went to his home, thoroughly diagnosed the foundation cracks, and drew out a detailed solution that worked for Jon and his needs. After a clear and in-depth inspection, Jon was confident in Mac's plan, so he signed the contract and went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Raul, and his production team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors, which is a special system that stabilizes foundation walls, providing it with the ability to straighten to its normal position. Because of the way it is designed, anchors can be installed on interior and exterior foundation walls. Each anchor is connected by a long, steel rod to a wall plate that gives the clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. Over time, homeowners can tighten the anchors to ensure the system is sticking to its trusted design. The installation typically takes one to two days and can be installed year-round!

A homeowner in Tomah, WI, knew they needed to have their sidewalk repaired. Knowing they could not repair it themselves, the homeowner began searching for a professional opinion. During their search, the homeowner came across one of our PolyLevel installations and was in awe of the process. The homeowner took a closer look into the services offered by us, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. When the estimate was finalized, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Mike, to investigate the status of the sidewalk. When Mike arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began his evaluation. Mike found that the sidewalk was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the sidewalk from sinking further, Mike suggested that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner agreed and production commenced. Our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew arrived at the home and got their materials ready for the PolyLevel installation. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution. The crew inserted the PolyLevel underneath the entire sidewalk leading into the home. Once the PolyLevel was installed, the crew shifted their focus to inserting the NexusPro Solution into the joints of the sidewalk. Once the NexusPro installation was complete, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowners were impressed with the excellent job completed by the crew. A Tomah, WI, homeowner had been eyeing his basement walls for some time now. He could have sworn that, over time, the wall had slowly been showing signs of tilting inward. The homeowner didn't know of any local foundation repair companies, but on the recommendation of a friend, decided to call American Waterworks and set up a FREE estimate. Several weeks later, one of our Design Specialist was headed out to the home.
When our Design Specialist arrived, he wasted no time getting down into the basement to examine the wall and the foundation of the home. When he finished, he met with the homeowner to deliver his results.
He began by saying that foundation walls are designed to withstand pressure from above, not from the side. So, when the pressure on the side of the wall exceeds what the wall can withstand, homeowners will see bowing, cracking, sliding in at the bottom, or tilting inward at the top. Our Design Specialist then reassured the homeowner that while this issue seems daunting, the solution is relatively simple and non-invasive. Our Design Specialist wanted to use our CarbonArmor wall reinforcing system. He explained that CarbonArmor is a state-of-the-art solution used to fix cracked and bowing foundation walls. It's comprised of epoxy and carbon fiber to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls. While this method does not restore a bowed wall, it will halt further movement and cracks. The homeowner was happy with our recommendation, and decided to sign on the spot.
On the day of the installation, our crew, led by their Foreman Chris N, worked hard to install 7 CarbonArmor straps throughout the basement and on the wall in question. When the process had been completed, our homeowner was thrilled to know that he could put his foundation worries in the past!
