A homeowner in Andover, MN, noticed their concrete was beginning to lower. Worried this would become a major tripping hazard, the homeowners knew they needed to find a professional solution. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner looked into "concrete leveling near me". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our before and afters, the homeowner knew we would be the ideal company for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Gary. Gary promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During the inspection, Gary confirmed the concrete was sinking and leading to uneven slabs. Gary recommended installing PolyLevel to lift the slabs back into place. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Gary's recommendations. Next, Gary passed the proposal to our Logisitcs team to build and finalize the project. Our Logistics team built the project and then scheduled it with our Foreman, Patrick. A few weeks later, Patrick and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Patrick and his crew started by installing PolyLevel underneath the sinking sidewalk. Once the PolyLevel was installed, the crew shifted to taking out the old joints and replacing them with NexusPro. As soon as all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customers' sinking sidewalks.
Carol G. of Andover, MN wanted her concrete walkway to her front porch repaired and leveled. Our Design Specialist, Jesse, inspected her concrete for FREE, provided her with a quote and answered any questions she had. Carol was confident in Jesse's approach and presentation, so she went ahead with the work.
Our Foremen, Troy and Jake, were the two crew leads for this job. On day one, Jake applied our SealantPro over the concrete, which protects concrete and extends its life by 3-5 years. On day two, Troy injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete which raises the concrete surface and fills the voids underneath that are caused by soil erosion. Next, he applied our NexusPro over the cracks, which provides a neat finish and prevents water or debris from invading the soil beneath the concrete. Carol was happy with the work and said the crews met all expectations and the work was done well!

A customer from Belle Plaine, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice his walkway leading up to his house was sinking, creating a sizable gap between the stair and the walkway. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection of the issue by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, headed out to the property to assess the issue. When completed, he let our customer know that the reason the concrete was sinking was due to faulty soil underneath. He informed him that this could be due to excessive heat, water intrusion, or poorly compacted soil from when the home was built. He recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection to correct the problem. Our Design Specialist explained that this modern approach utilized an expanding polyurethane foam to raise the slab back to its original state. He went on to say that this method is far less invasive than alternative remedies. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Dylon, began the process by drilling strategic holes into the concrete walkway. Next, he injected the foam into the hole and closely monitored the lifting process, making sure the slab returned to where it should be.
Once completed, our customer was happy to know he had eliminated the gap and could go back to safely using his concrete slab!
